I've finally gotten around to taking a couple of bad pics (flash to the extreme) of Boba and one of my collection.
I did the Pledge Future mod, and after a few coats I think it turned out great.
Boba really is a nice figure overall, and a nice addition to my collection.

After my second son showed up we figured our first born needed a room, so the "man cave" was relegated to the basement...
My objective... continue to buy more and more toys until you don't see anymore of that stuff.
I guess you could call it my version of a "finished" basement!

It will suck if the pipes or shutoff valves were to spring a leak right there though...
Way to make him paranoid now.
BTW this is one of the few figures i own that actually increases testosterone by owning it. It is just BAD-*** to look at.

My Boba from Big Bad Toy Store arrived today! Holy crap do I love this figure. As awesome as the pics in this thread are, they don't do the real thing justice.

I never get tired of seeing new pictures of this guy. It looks good stock out of the box but I really think doing a couple mods makes him look even more impressive.
The nice thing is now Sideshow knows what is out there and what improvements they can do to make their version even better and hopefully the definitive 12" figure of Boba.

It's the core body which makes the Medicom Boba (and indeed all of their figures) hang so naturally though. I've never seen a Sideshow figure posed in the ultra-natural way that Medicom and HT figs can be. They always look like mannequins to me.
The definitive Boba Fett figure is already here, and it's made by Medicom. Deal with it.

No need to be a ******* about my statement or opinion.
I have praised this figure and it is the definitive Boba out right now. I don't have any reason to "Deal with it." as I agree with that. If you read back I have continuously praised and posted many pictures of this guy in my posts which I don't do for most other figures.
That said, it is not perfect, which is what why I made my statement about the Sideshow one could improve on a few areas that are the weakest on this figure and maybe make the definitive one. I love this figure but it is not quite perfect out of the box as I would have liked. I made some mods to mine that make it close to perfect to me though, which is all I care about.
Time will tell but this figure will always be in my collection regardless of how the Sideshow one turns out.

Like Natrix said there are areas that can be improved upon, but honestly these are little details that I don't think SS will be willing or able to fix. Im not bashing SS, but being across the pond, they just dont have the connection to the factories that other companies do. In my eyes, SS's biggest problem is their paint apps. They just dont make it through from proto to production and to me that is where this Medi really shines. I really think this will be one of those "cant find figures" in a year.
SS isn't going to top it period. I'm stating this now. Come close? Maybe.(Only HT could trump this delight) Who cares? We got a kick *** figure, that's all that needs to be said..MORE PICS!

Exactly but there are also little details they could easily improve on as well like the height/attachment of the jet pack, leather belt for the ammo pouches to attach to instead of plastic (like on the jedi figures), placement of the shoulder armor on the vest, maybe a separate girth belt with real fabric instead of being a molded belt on the groin armor and better hoses to the gauntlet (or at least have all three hoses attached to it begin with).
I wasn't bashing the Medicom at all or trying to start a debate. I was just saying that now that there is an awesome or "definitive" version available, Sideshow could look at it to see what could be improved upon for their version.
The bar has been set by Medicom and now Sideshow now will need to improve their game to sell their version.
