With this preview, I have to assume SST Boba won't be announced anytime in the near future. I'd been holding off opening Han in Carbonite until Boba Fett came along just to make it double the sweet but I guess it's still a ways off. Oh well.

you do bring up a good point. I dont own any clone troopers but I do own Obi Won in the armor and the one thing about sideshow star wars figures that I never liked is that their clothes are too big for the characters. Also the armor is loose and slides around.

Not sure how the original Medicom Bobas are but I might pull the trigger based on what SDCC delivers.

Used rewards points on ROTJ Boba Fett and got him for eight bucks, shipped! I know he's a bit short, but I'll work him into the display so that doesn't stand out.

they are ready for pre order 149.99 $ , Boba only two photos .....damn

I don't think SSC's Fetts will "blow these out of the water", for that to happen the Medi figures would need to be very average figures and they're not, the Medi's are brilliant and are very accurate.

I own both Medi Fetts and I'll own both SSC Fetts, no doubt.

If you're thinking about getting a Medi Fett do it, get both if you can.

Have a look at the above pictures, what's not to like, seriously???

Are these still little guys? If Medi corrected their scale issue then I would actually buy these. I'm tired of waiting for SSC to decide to make 2 of the most wanted characters.

Medi's are in scale with Medi's. That's pretty much how they roll and I think it's fine. People really put too much emphasis on their shelves all matching. These figures are awesome and are probably my 2 most favorite 1/6th figs and I own a bunch of SS's and HT's.

I collect 1/6 figures. No offence to Medicom, but every other company is in line with the standard. If they weren't different they could be making more money.

Hats off to you sir, it's nice to know that not all Sideshow fans are totally blinkered.

1/2" is what is "out of scale" - really, that is quite minimal. Add to the fact you're getting a great armored figure, you just can't go wrong!

Before they can blow these Medicom dwarfs off the water, Sideshow must first take care of their floppy armored body issue as well as their slightly oversized armor pieces.

I don't think Boba/Jango will use the armor body. They aren't covered in armor.

They will prolly use the Pro, which is nice now.

I hope SSC's version blows these out of the water!

Dont hold your breath...I have researched lifesize fett costumes for awhile and am almost complete mine. I have the ESB medi fett..and a ton of SSC star wars..there is no way they can get any better..they would have to take a medi boba and put him on a larger body..but even them, their joints are so loose..blah. By the time SSC gets around to releasing one, their bloating prices will be close to $189.99 i bet.
