When was Jango and RotJ Boba released? Any chance they're still available? I'm thinking about picking up the Medicom Darth Maul as well, but are they still expanding their SW line?

Oh, and are there any major inaccuracies or flaws with them? I've never really seriously considered Medicom until the Sideshow thing... Kinda makes me want to have a RotJ version as well

Just read through the thread to find many of your answers. They came out late 2011. Sold out Boba anyways.

If you want them in the future only option is ebay or here. (they are getting a restock in july) Both are reputable.

Honestly - unless you focus collect, I don't know why you'd favour the SSC one over the Medis.

In defense of SideShow, though, the accessories are worth it. The paint applications looks fantastic, as well.

And one can never have too many Boba Fett figures.

I'm not religious..

Too many Fetts? I never wanted ANY 1/6 versions to begin with. Seriously, the Medis have blown me away - I've been aware of them since their initial release, but wasn't in the market for one.

Now that I've seen umpteen pics of both them AND the SSC one.. I know exactly where my money's going.

Lol yeah, the ROTJ Boba Fett is special. It's only taken about a year for them to catch on.

No figure is perfect, but I truly think that the Medicom ROTJ is really, really close to it.

As for me, I've been in love with the character since 1980, so I can't get enough 1/6 Boba Fetts! From ANY manufacturer!

Yeah.. I've always appreciated / liked the Boba Fett character - but it's only been in the last two or three years or so, that I've started acquiring 1/6 figures. My focus is to get the characters that I have a particularly fond connection with; so Boba was not on my list initially; it was always going to start with Vader, Luke, Leia, Han, droids etc..

I've had an awakening with the Medi Fetts though - can't explain it.

He looks great, but he's still a little short for a (SS) Stormtrooper. He still needs more height to take account of the helmet and boots.

Looks about the same height as the Hasbro OTC, which matches SS Boushh.


I found these Medi/SS comparisons from earlier in this thread:

Another half an inch and I'd happily ditch the SS ESB and hunt down one of these to go with Jabba et al.

If you want your figures to be screen accurate (or as close as possible), why wouldn't you use that?

I think he meant taking account of the boots and helmet, which would push the figure over 11.5".

Got it. Good point. I would still peg Fett in full armor to just shy of 6'.
