I have to say, those ROTJ Boba's look really good. Definatly improved paint apps over the ESB version detail wise. Too bad they didnt go the extra mile and added a real sash and belt.

For those that have Medi Fetts, a really good way to weather them is to use black paint, mix it in a glass of water till it looks like cola, and dip a sponge into it and apply it on the suit. Looks really well. It's what I did with my bodysuit. (besides dying it blue obviously, but that;s not what I'm talkin about, althought its something I would recommend ANYone with ESB boba. Dylon China Blue.)

Anyway, my esb, repainted everything in full, except the gauntlets and jetpack, which I touched up a little with dibs of silver. I like them fine enough as they are.
Seperate visor placed in, dyed outfit, modified a slim TT for him. And.... Thats about it.

Wow !.. Outstanding.. he looks really great.

Thanks for your tips over the last few days, I put my Fett customisation on hold and will work on him again on my next days off.

Nice man! :clap

The first thing you notice on the ROTJ Medi Boba - at least I do, is the virtually SPOT ON helmet. The width, the contours & cut of the T-visor, the gritty colours.. f__king brilliant!! Without pointing fingers or being nasty, I really think that discerning eyes are lacking around these boards - & in turn, subjective observations about this character become faux fact.

I know personally, what I'm looking for with this guy to look.. right. At present, I'm not in any real hurry for a 1/6 Boba, but I think in the next five years or so, someone out there might step up & sway me.. :wink1:

Yes, the sculpt is very nice.

Does anyone else just hear the robot chicken boba went they see action poses?

Da da da da etc

Nice poses thou guys.

I posted this on the Sideshow thread, but thought that folks here might get a kick out of seeing this since it's still part-Medicom. But, after piecing this figure together from various sources the last several weeks, here is what I consider the ultimate kit-bashed Boba Fett! When my Medicom ESB Fett started coming apart in several places about a year ago, I was really looking forward to Sideshow's version to eventually replace it. But, when the final product was met with some disappointment, I decided to see if it was possible to resurrect my crumbling RAH Fett into a new & improved version.

For the curious, here's the final breakdown:

Medicom:
– head/helmet
– shoulder pads, chest armor & vest
– neck collar (cut from the original Medicom suit!)
– Wookiee braids
– gauntlets (the Sideshow ones were better detailed but too short)
– codpiece
– knee pads (glued with SSC darts to replace the broken ones)
– boots

Sideshow:
– rifle
– cape
– rocket backpack
– jumpsuit
– utility belt (customized so both pouches have the proper left-sided flaps)
– side holster & pistol
– hands (with trimmed wrist pegs)
– shin tools

Hot Toys:
– slim Truetype body (from Captain America Red Skull figure)
– ankle pegs & feet

bbi:
– G3 neck (the only way I could get that Medicom head to fit onto a Hot Toys body)

BTW, I never would have dared taking on this project had it not seen all the tips & tricks Freaks here have done to tweak their figures. Thanks, guys! :wave
