Nope, I have sworn off all-things GG bust related, I have just never been too impressed with them (after owning quite a few of the SW ones).

I'm with ya there Matt. I am going to hold out for what I truly want from here on out. The LotR P.F. line.

If we get 2 - 3 announced by this years end, I will be glad.

I just want one announced by end of April.

Indeed, and having amassed a collection well over 100 SSW pieces, I really don't feel like I have any gaps. I can afford to be picky and selective, and pass on entire lines/companies. We were just so spoiled by the SSW line -- statues, busts, plaques, medallions, helms, weapons sets; really, that's covering some ground!

I am VERY glad I didn't sell off my Weta collection in favor of the solely Sideshow offerings, not that I was ever really tempted too, but still.

The collection I have from the SSW pieces is something I will love till the end of time. Like Matt said I don't have any holes that I look at and god I need that. However, like what GG is doing so far they're quite nice and they're worth getting for me anyways. SS LOTR lines (PF and 1:6) in the end I think will be some amazing lines with all that we get. Saying SS has abandoned the LOTR lines is so far out there it's funny. I know it's been a while since a PF was announced and Faramir was the last 1:6th but I have faith it WILL be what fans of both lines want.

I've also sworn off buying any GG LOTR products: busts and animated maquettes. They are nice, but just no room or money to get into yet another LOTR line.

I've been extremely happy with my small Weta collection, and the only thing I'm even remotely interested in right now are the PF figures. I can wait for as long as it takes for Sideshow to make the next announcement. My guess is it won't be until after CIV. Sideshow is too wrapped up in SW right now to really think about anything else.

If they are indeed working on 3 pieces right now, it'll be a nice balance to have a female character, a fellowship character and a non-fellowship character.
