i think what he means is that inside the brown shipper is 2 smaller boxes. one for the base and one for medusa. if you break down the brown shipper you can store the 2 inside it more easily. that's how it was for the original medusa at least....

Hey Alex, off topic but I've seen other ARH statues brought up in this thread so I thought I'd ask here: what's going on with ARH's version of Red Sonja? Is that still in development? I only ask because of the Sideshow RS sneak.

There are four sections that stack on top of each to form a one huge foam block
Base layer

Second layer

Third layer

And then the top layer

xD that wouldn't save space at all being separated like that and all. If they all fit inside the big box it's still going to be as big as the big box. Unless you break down the big box and just keep the smaller boxes, but that probably equals the big box or even more. The box isn't a concern to me at all....but I'm just pointing that out heh.

yea that's troubling for me because i do have limited space. maybe i'll just store the box in the trunk of my car for a while....

Hey Alex, off topic but I've seen other ARH statues brought up in this thread so I thought I'd ask here: what's going on with ARH's version of Red Sonja? Is that still in development? I only ask because of the Sideshow RS sneak.

We have it but were waiting for SS to release theirs so we don't get hit like the AOD last year. ARH AOD was great, but did not sell as expected.
Although totally different in many ways, it will appeal to a different group of collectors, we are in no big rush to release it.
I like to get it right this time, as I am sure you will appreciate it more

It's tough yes and much respect to SS but ours is going to appeal more to a different buyer

We will see, ours will be irresistible.
I'm almost happy they are sharing this first with us, as it will build interest in the character and draw people in
