Saw the trailer before Terminator Salvation and it looked pretty cool although it's almost like John McClaine in the Matrix.

Its a comic book movie based on the GN of the same name put out by Top Shelf Productions.

Has anyone seen this? There are two sci-fi movies releasing this weekend, this and Pandorum. Need to know which is worth seeing.

This looks sooooo cheesy. It literally looks like it time traveled out of 1993.

if it's got bruce in it i'll watch it.:naughty

BTW::::: just going back one page i see that The Mike's sigs have to be edited, but looking at Starkiller's sig of Cammy with her suit up the crack of her ass is OK:confused::confused::confused:

i guess that's art, so it's OK:rolleyes::duh

Well there are two parts to that story. The first is that apparently people went to Dave specifically to complain about my sigs. There are still sexual images on the site both in Sig and Avatars, some of the most famous have been around for years, but no complaint so no problem. Dave and I had a long conversation spanning over days trying to reach an understanding on how the complaints of some set the rule for the whole, etc. We ended up agreeing to disagree but with the finality of it, that he agreed I never broke one rule or did anything to cause forced removal but that if the complaints continued that he'd simply outlaw all sigs that had any women in them. So I took my off willingly (I'm not going to be that ^^^^^^^).

The second is I received a lot of guff about NOT having women in my sig ironically, so I decided to put them back in and use the huge censor box as a jab at Dave using his "Family Friendly Environment" rhetoric from our conversation. No one has complained....yet so for now they'll continue. Ironically since the box's joke is to cover up 90% of the woman, the pics can be from more risque sets since they'll never be shown anyway. So while Starkiller's sig has bare ass cheeks on it, its really because no one has complained yet. I wanted to know numbers, I knew I wouldn't get names but I got neither so I don't know if it was a handful or maybe a couple of really instrumental folks like VIPs or Mods or even just Dave himself.

Also there is a difference between cartoon ass and real ass. I know most of you will never see the real thing and Mike's sigs are as close as you'll get, but there's the whole worldwide web for that. If you can't find naked women on the internet, you're just not looking.

I saw Surrogates today - thought it was alright, not great. The whole concept doesn't really make sense though. And the villains' motivation wasn't really supported.

I don't plan on seeing this (It really looks ridiculous), so maybe someone could answer two things for me...

1) Do people actually get "offline"? Do they have real lives outside the surrogates? From the commercials, it seems like everyone just spends as much time as possible in their roboforms, and if that's true, wouldn't everyone's muscles atrophy to nothing? Bruce Willis, then, wouldn't be able to just unplug and be a normal cop or whatever he is in the film. :banghead

2) Why would Bruce Willis' surrogate have such a stupid haircut? :monkey4

I saw this today. (my score: 7/10. It's not bad, but I wished it delved into deeper ideas)

1) Well, Surrogate technology has only existed in its current form for a few years. It'd really depend on the measure of use to determine how common muscle atrophy would be. People would still need to unplug from their Surrogates in order to get food and so on and to perform hygiene functions, but the film does imply that apart from those livelihood-based activities, most people spend most of their time in their control chair. The human body is resilient, even minimal movement in a sedentary lifestyle should prevent muscle atrophy. Bruce Willis' character is oddly very fit though, compared to a lot of others in the fim.

2) Because......He likes it that way? I don't really like Bruce Willis with any hair style except bald.
