New sculpt started - 1/3 Giger Alien kit

I'm new to these kits and wanted to ask some basic and or stupid questions:

-Would this come unpainted and (I assume) unassembled?

-How many parts? How will the fit be? Won't there be seams some noticible seams in many places?

-How sturdy is the assembled kit? Is there an internal wire or something in the torso, legs and tail to provide support? Will there be pins/pegs in the feet that will go into holes in the base should that be purchased?

-Do people normally put together and paint these kits themselves or do they commission a professional to assemble/paint them? How much would a professional paint job cost and who would do work on something like this?

the pose is kinda.. aachkh!!! im going to reshape mine and make a new tail as well.

Why don't you do a poll on which pose people like the best on this forum? That should give you the best idea as to what most people want. I'd buy it if it had a more dynamic pose than that, the tail looks strange to me that way. Beautiful sculpt and paint work. It would go great with my Alien Queen and other Aliens pieces I have.

Ahh ok, didn't know. It's not a bad pose, i just don't like the tail the way it is. Can you show me the thread in the hive forum with the poll?

It's a lovely piece, but I just don't dig the "curvaceous-ness" of the sculpt/design.
Not that I could afford something like that anyway!
