I think it was referring to how he shoots his webbing in the symbiote suit on the top of his hand vs. his web shooters under his wrists.

This is a variant. It probably won't be available for preorder until after the original ships.

That's true in most cases: Batman Blue, Ivy Green, Storm and Widow whites, Baroness Rainbow, Team Spartans, Catwoman Classic, etc.

Who knows, SS could change up and release this earlier, but that's not what they normally do. Green Lantern Sinestro is also in the Wolverine Bronw pic, and original Sinsetsro is already shipped. Daredevil ships this year, the lines on the sculpt were already set for yellow, I bet we see that this year or next year.

We could be surprised, but I don't think we'll see this again for a while.

Catwoman Classic is an entirely brand new sculpt. Her base is a variant but the figure is a brand new sculpt facing the opposite way of the original CW PF. She isn't a variant. I ordered her and I REALLY dislike variants.

Was waiting for somebody to call that specific one out.

I read where the sculptor himself said it was an entirely new sculpt. But I don't care. Almost the same thing was sculpted in a mirror pose. I wonder how much resculpting was done on this Spidey variant? Between Catwoman and Spidey there's the same amount of change from the original to the other version (except being mirrored for Catwoman) in that the 2nd version has an entirely different costume.

The Symbiote web shooters are on the top on his hand but the BIB suit was just a normal suit with the shooters in the usual spot on the wrist

And just one more step, the Symbiote didn't use web shooters at all, the webs were organic.

Sad thing is.....I might sell my comiquettes for these. Every new 'installment' from Sideshow gets better and better. I have so many Spiderman statues at this point.

This is the best looking Sideshow Spider-Man statue to date, IMO.

I would definitely keep the original comi if I had one and prob just buy the new one in black. I don't have one though so I'm only in for red and blue. Black looks sweet but I don't like variants. Never gonna buy one. So red it is...
