Sounds like it'd be easier to buy secondhand from someone who can open and inspect it before shipping, rather than from Sideshow. Returns are always an option, but man, I hate packaging and shipping PFs...

IMO given the documented issues, it's safer to buy an inspected piece second hand. SS made a ton of these so you can find them readily. I picked up an EX locally in excellent condition for what I'd have paid retail + shipping. if you're going to pick one up second hand, go see it in person if possible or ask for detailed hi res pics in good lighting... Otherwise pass. GL!

Thats just too bad. Since I started following this thread I was really paranoid. I contacted sideshow and requested the open and do an inspection. Received mine in may or june. No issue. It had that same yellow sticker. So now im confused. I thought that sticker meant it went through "extra" inspection

Crap. Sorry to hear this, bud. I've received pieces with and without the sticker, and to me, there is no discernible association between sticker and QC.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue. I got #357 today and my box had the same yellow sticker on it. I was lucky as mine looked great except there was some faint black paint on the hand that goes into the base. The black wasn't as dark as it should be IMO.
