So first it was leaning to the left, now it appears to be leaning too far forward. Have they addressed these pictures yet?

I could've sworn he was leaning more forward at SDCC 2017. That's one of the things that caught my eye when I saw it in San Diego. And it didn't bother me ...as I thought it looked very dynamic.

But now I think SSC wants it to be less leaning forward and a tad more looking up. Which is why they propped up the statue in the pics and they are revising the base.

They probably want him looking higher up so he's making eye contact with levitating Magneto. Sideshow will sort it out and if they don't then just send it back until you're happy

Exactly.

Does anyone know if Wolverine was sculpted digitally, or traditional clay sculpting?

Im surprised its not the go to costume for me but at the same time is my fav wolverine statue out there. Cant wait

Goes to show ...a great sculpt and pose ...and paint app for that matter ...will always garner interest. Which leads to more sales, IMO.

This piece is a prime example of that. It'll definitely be a keeper if the production piece closely match the proto.

Agreed. Agreed! :rock

I'm really impressed with what SSC came up with for this piece.

Looks awesome. Have $250 in RP. Not sure whether to apply them to this piece or Red Sonja. I have the last Sonja and the last Wolvie, so I can’t use that reasoning to help me decide...

I see that you guys were talking about the photo that I posted on Facebook a couple of weeks ago. Regarding the leaning thing and the added support that they added underneath the front of the piece to adjust the angle - as seen below.

Well, I contacted Sideshow about this straight away. Just to ask them to clarify on this subject. Here's the response.

Dear Christian,

Thank you for contacting Sideshow Support.

The angle was intentional, as that is the angle the piece will be at with the updated base. Once we have an updated piece the photos will be updated on the order page. That is all the information that we currently have on this item,

If you should have any further questions please feel free to contact me.

Best regards,
Jeff Dean

Makes sense, it appears to be a pretty easy fix. Thanks for the info!

It should be an easy fix, yes.

But it really shouldn’t be up to people to discover this for themselves. They should disclose it themselves on the page and earn some equity with people.

I completely agree

I agree. The main issue from all of this was that it was somewhat unclear what to expect of the final product.

The least they could do

Can't wait to have this piece in hand.

We have a bit of a wait. I think this isn't due out until August (and that's if we don't have any delays). I have to say though, I'm very anxious to see what the final product will look like.
