I really want this Wolverine just not sure if I want to pay on this and my hulk statue at the same time. They teased that there would be more to come and I have my fingers crossed for a 90's Cyclops.

They're doing their own variations on the costumes so it might not be the exact outfit uniform of the 90s Cyclops.

That Superman PF in the background appears to be leaning a bit.

They remolded the base permanently, won't be a second add-on piece to prop it up since we caught the lean during it's production phase whereas for Thor, I think they made they change after it had already been released.

So the Freaks/Statue Forum members should be thanked for saving the day? :lol

I'm still praying every day that my Spider-Man PF doesn't break :lol

It does scare me. They 'new and daring' poses I think will come at a cost to us collectors. It's just a matter of when. I hope it doesn't happen, but I just can't understand how they can defy gravity for long. :lol It sounds weird, but I'm right there with you.

Wait, I thought sellers inflate the prices like crazy?

Many do, and they people don't buy and then slowly the prices drop. I paid about $925 shipped for Mysterio and sold it for about $200 less a 3-4 months later. Obviously it was 'opened', but lesson is 'wait.' I just get too eager on some pieces. At the time, I thought it was a good deal (and I still argue that it was), but in hindsight, could I have waited longer? Sure.

I think the game is which will hold price and which will drop, and if it does drop, for how long? It's like the stock market. :lol

It's like all of them though. Aside from Thanos Ex, there are not many recent Marvel releases from Sideshow that I can think of (and I'm struggling to think of another - maybe Captain Marvel Ex?) that came out and went up in value since being sold out. But even the secondary market prices on Thanos will come down. They probably won't get to retail prices, BUT I don't think there's many reasons to pay the $2500 that some are selling for, unless you really love the character (and to those people, I respect that.) I've paid over what I should have in the past. (Prime example above.) Just my two cents.

So XM and SS are both doing 90's inspired lines?

Sideshow's new X-MEN Sentinel line of PFs seems to be their own take on the Astonishing X-MEN costumes (that's based on what I've seen of Wolverine). XM's X-MEN line looks like their take of the 90s Lee X-MEN costumes.

I actually enjoy the way SS is doing their X-Men line. It really depends on price, look, and pose for me. If they do a Cyclops any EX ideas? I guess alternate red glasses is an easy one.

I'd be down for that.

I know it wouldn't really work, but I'd like a 'masked' version head like with the Astonishing costume and an 'unmasked - visor only' version like in the same vein as a Jim Lee version.

I was thinking that as well. Hair, covered hair/head :lol He usually wears the glasses in a casual getup.
