Granted, but athletic woman typically have boyish frames, no boobs and muscle definition. All turnoffs to me personally.

What about amazonian muscle definition? I'm not talking bodybuilding definition here. Definite muscles, but still curves.

What about Alex Ross' version of WW?

yes, that is VERY NICE. Shoulders and hips are very representative of an actual woman.

Personally I never understood why Superman had to look all ripped. If his power comes from being an alien and from the son, would he need to be all muscular at all? Isn't Supergirl pretty much just as strong and she is like 1/2 his size?

WW, Amazonian woman are mythed to be big. Not necessarily hulking and ripped.

Just like a normal person who weight trains and does cardio exercises is able to do more, lift more, go faster and have greater endurance than a non active human. It stands to reason the same principles would apply to a super powered alien. Kal El probably reasoned his powers would be even more effective if he was at peak physical condition and make a much more profound psychological impact. A better question is how did he get into such great shape when reg weights are as feathers to him? Superman vs. Muhammed Ali had the answer.
Anyone know what I'm referring too?

And he would be. Supergirl is probably in peak physical condition for an 18 year old girl, but being a Kryptonian under a yellow sun, she can rip train engines in half.

So a ripped Superman would be stronger than say, scrawny General Zod (Terance Stamp version)?

Makes sense, but I agree, how heavy does something need to be for him to gain muscle mass? I can believe that to some extent as long as they don't make him into infinite strength because in order to build muscle there has to be resistance. :lol

Can't stop looking at WW above, thats a woman.

He works out under the controlled effects of the red sun.

Glad some of you guys appreciate a real woman. Ross' WW is what i would see her as if she was a real woman. Too often are women in comics more like duded up girls with fake parts. Real hips, real curves... Thats always been Wonder Woman to me. Not a skinny frail girl.

LOL, everybody is so sensitive these days:monkey2. It was a joke dude. Having said that, "low-watt juvenile insults" is what makes this board awesome.

You should've done it better. Like so...

"You wouldnt kick her outta bed while you ____ed her brains out...."

and then

"Figured you'd be the guy who goes after Ken's plastic crack."

That way, it's cruder, and more ruder. Like Uncle Buck.

Hughes WW for the win. :lecture

Well, I was going to tell Prog that thenammagazine's jokes were funnier, but I figured the only reason he missed that was because he spent so much time as the butt of them.

Ironic, huh? :lol
