There's one simple reason Smallville has run 10 seasons. It's the CW's only show. It's the biggest fish in a very small pond.

We'll CW also has Supernatural and now Vampire Diaries along with some other stuff, sure CW isn't one of the big 4 but it still brings in viewers and makes money.

I just counted 47.3 different kinds of hot in this picture.

I'm just drawing lines in the sand. Maybe they'll get it right. I have little faith in the mass market though, so if money is what they're after, I expect my lines to be crossed.

The frustrating thing is that The Walking Dead has blown the roof off of everything, yet producers still insist on diluting superheroes for the mainstream. Why not tell intense, epic stories and get rich on that? Is TWD's audience really that small?

It's funny you bring up the Walking Dead, I've read the first 2 years of the comic and it was the most depressing stuff so I stopped reading it, I watched the show and thought it was well done but honestly I hate zombie shows, so ...

I understand what your saying though and I think an action based WW would have worked just fine, it's just this is the route they've gone and I want to see what kinda ride its going to be.

If your going to put WW in pants I think this is the way to go:

As far as the Smallville version goes its pretty much a rip off of this much better design:

Despite Jim Lee's panned reboot/ modern WW he did a great job here:

Now that's a really cool design in the 2nd/3rd/4th pics. It pulls off the bare legs without being cheesy. Perfect physique on that girl as well.

Not really feeling the top designs at all, which are the one's from the Whedon movie attempt.

The photoshops are the head of Colbie Smulders (who at the time was in the running for WW when Whedon was working on it) on some other woman's body, cause that sure isn't her physique.

I agree the TV show costume could have been better, I actually like the WW warrior skirt look, but the TV show is going for a different look and there are supposedly 3 more outfits she is going to wear.

Sorry, but that is a seriously masculine body. I would bet that the base of that photoshop sketch was some bodybuilding magazine pic of some testostorone pumping chick.

Women have curves. Their hips aren't the same size as their waste and chest. They also don't have shoulders of a construction worker. Thats just disgusting. Then again, that is the fan base of the character, they are turned on by a woman that could kick their ass, out bench press them, and basically manhandle them as if it was a man. Maybe they'll add a strap on to the next redesign to give you guys the full package. :lol

I just want to see a hot chick with big ass titties running around in a tight outfit. And her tits need to be big because of her breasts, not her pectoralis muscles. :lol

I agree in that Wonder Woman should be sexy as hell, and this is not sexy.

I think the build on the Cobie Smulders photoshop is perfect. I'm all for toned, but muscle definition on chicks is :monkey4

There's a big difference between an athletic woman's build and a professional body builder.

Granted, but athletic woman typically have boyish frames, no boobs and muscle definition. All turnoffs to me personally.
