I like how the JLA cartoons had her fly AND she had the invisible jet.

Sometimes the jet is useful (sometimes an invisible armory would be) Sometimes it's not useful.

There are already real-world concepts for cloaking utilizing cameras and LEDs. WW's jet might be nothing more than a working version of a similar technology.

Yeah, the idea she would be visible sitting in the pilot seat is dumb. They can get rid of that.

I guess the only reason the flying bothers me is that the WW I grew up with didn't fly. It would be like seeing Batman and Robin start flying all of a sudden.

If they did bring back the jet, it should be a cloaking device that reflects images around it to make it appear invisible instead of the old see through jet. Since that sort of technology does actually exist, at least in a rudimentary form, it wouldn't be that far fetched.

I get that, but to me it makes more sense to have her fly afterall she not actually human like we are and has the power of gods and gods can do all sorts of crap.

I grew up with non-flying WW as well but I also remember a lot of bondage and then in the late 60's they tried to make her a go-go girl and I don't hold on to any of that stuff either. The flying just makes sense to me.

I had been hearing complaints about the new Wonder Woman costume, but after seeing it I really don't get what the fuss is all about.

A few things have changed over the years. I'm OK with her flying. Gifts from the gods and all that.

The one thing I've always found laughable is she grew up on an island of nearly-immortal women. For centuries they've only had each other for companionship. Not a man around.

Yet when she meets Steve Trevor she's attracted to him.

Um, no.

If they ever want to do a realistic WW there's one more elephant in the room they should acknowledge. Just sayin'.

Maybe this new show is heading in that diection, with the whole WW and her assistant/best friend having a "3 scoop day" and watching Katy Perry and squeeling like little girls.........just saying........

Have you ever read the story on Wonder Womans creator?:horror
or
seen some of those very early covers of hers?:monkey3

Diana seemed to be in "bondage" rather often by no accident.:nana:

i never understood the invisible jet (yet still see WW). was the jet not designed right or does WW have some sort of special "power" that makes her inconceilable? i saw an episode of some cartoon recently and if i remember right all the passengers in the jet could be seen too. how does the jet distinguish between someones cloths and the fabric or metal of the jet? if WW brought luggage on board would you see that floating around too? what about her poop if she took a mile high dump would the poop be visibly trailing her from the invisible lavatory? they have lavs on gulfstreams right?

these are unanswered questions that the universe has a right to know.

Well it has more to do with them not showing a blank frame. If the jet was invisible but you didn't see her then there really wouldn't be anything to show. So their answer was to show us the reader/veiwer that she's in the plane but the characters in the story saw nothing. There wasn't just some chick squating in the clouds.

That's what they did for 1970's TV. Now with CG you could have the jet and everything inside be invisible, but as it flies through rain/clouds, etc... you would catch it's shape occasionally.

i'm sure you're right, but it is lame. the reader or viewer doesn't really need to see WW to understand she's in the plane. They could have simply drew the plane with a jagged up broken line to simulate invisibilty.

I don't even know if there is a point to the jet. Do they show dog fights in the comic or something? Why not just skip those frames totally and simply imply that she used the plane.

In the DC Animated movie Justice League Crisis on 2 Earths they explain the invisible jet as inside the plane it looks like a regular plane, nothing invisible. Outside the jet it is completely invisible, the people inside are not viewable.

Um, I care. A crappy TV show will put any Wonder Woman movie off another 20 years or so because they'll say "well no one liked the TV show so no one cares about the character". While Justice League is cool I want a Wonder Woman movie , there are a few of us out here that actually really like the character of Wonder Woman.

Same here. I care about the character and hope that WW eventually gets a movie with a good story, actress to portray her and a good director.

BTW...I like the new changes made to the costume. :D
