As it was said earlier in this thread, the recent DC Universe animated Wonder Woman was very watchable AND faithful to the source material.
This reminds me of the I-Ching period where the writers threw away the core premise of WW to cash in on Donna Riggs' popularity in The Avengers.
There's no confidence to make a real WW or real superhero series. Somebody in development must have seen this:
