It's that time of year again! The NY Comic Con is heading back to the Javits Center this October!

I can never make it to San Diego, so this is my alternative. Just got my tickets. Anybody going? Do the East Coast Freaks want to meet up?

Just throwing it out there! Let me know what you think.

Thought about going, but since there won't be anything new to surprise me with I don't think I'll make the trip.

I like going to look around the floor for a deal. Last year I picked up a HT Two Face for $100 and the HT Mech Test for $125. The latter was the better deal, but it is fun to look around the floor for a bargain.

My wife and I will be in the area, and are tentatively planning to go Friday only. I need to get me an Oliver Copiel sketch or print!

If anywhere should get a comic-con its Scotland.

Some of th biggest comic book writers and artists are from here. Writing and Drawing many franchises like DC and Marvel, also Judge Dred and Kick Ass came from here and many more i cant think of!!

since they just revealed specs, maybe Hot toys Batman will be on display. That make the trip from school worth it

I be going... def. going for 1 day but may opt for the 3 day... just depends on when my friends are going

I dont think SS goes. I went last year and its mostly Anmie and Comic stuff. Not much statues at all. Hopefully they start bringing more toy compaines in.

the guests who will be there lack flavor, not really familiar with them. youd think they claim new york now is busy with filming of shows and movies more premiere peeps would be there

I'll be there the whole time.

A lot of artists like NYCC because of the lack of Hollywood involvement. NYCC is more for the art and artists. Sure they have some celebs there.

My wife is going to have an exclusive cover through Big Dog Ink.
