I'll probably make random postings at odd hours now..feeding time and all that.

We were going to name her Crixtina but...

Brenna is her name. And big sis Ainsley is very proud.

Thanks everyone! We were just one day after our official due date while our first was ten days late... but sibling rivalry is alive and well already-- my youngest beat the older one's birthweight by a quarter of an ounce.

Now, for the unsolicited advice: Speaking as a girl who had a pretty amazing upbringing by a father who taught me to be as independent as they come... go easy on your daughters, boys. Don't police too hard, or you'll get the opposite result True story: I had a friend in high school who's dad would conveniently clean his guns every time a boy picked her up for a date. She ended up pregnant at 17 Alternatively, my dad never even had 'the talk' with me, leaving all that to sex ed and health class, and I... well, I don't want to get too personal, but let's just say I didn't even give any boys a chance until well into college
