If you have a boy you need to watch that boy. If you have a girl you have to watch ALL BOYS. My second daughter arrived Sunday (nice Mother's Day gift)... Now I have to really buy that rocking chair and shotgun for the front porch.

I'll probably make random postings at odd hours now..feeding time and all that.:google

We were going to name her Crixtina but...:monkey3

Brenna is her name. And big sis Ainsley is very proud.

Congratulations to you and your wife, Neil! I'll be looking out for you random hour postings as well since my wife is due with our second child in July.

Congrats! I hear the second child is supposedly easier.

Thanks everyone! We were just one day after our official due date while our first was ten days late... but sibling rivalry is alive and well already-- my youngest beat the older one's birthweight by a quarter of an ounce.

It begins.:google

Congrats man!!!

Make sure when she gets older, to invite a close buddy of yours over, right before a guy comes to pick her up. I always loved that scene in Bad Boys 2 hahaha.

Can't wait to meet her in 18 years. ;)

Just kidding, man. :lol I'm hoping for a son myself, but I'd happily turn a daughter into a geek like me. Be good to her so that she'll expect the same treatment from all those other boys. That way, she'll wind up doing most of your policing for you.

Congrats Neil!!! Great to hear all is healthy and well. Happy Mother's Day to your wife :chew

Brenna is a great name - it's on my short list for girl's names, so good choice :duff

Now, for the unsolicited advice: Speaking as a girl who had a pretty amazing upbringing by a father who taught me to be as independent as they come... go easy on your daughters, boys. Don't police too hard, or you'll get the opposite result :lol True story: I had a friend in high school who's dad would conveniently clean his guns every time a boy picked her up for a date. She ended up pregnant at 17 :monkey3 Alternatively, my dad never even had 'the talk' with me, leaving all that to sex ed and health class, and I... well, I don't want to get too personal, but let's just say I didn't even give any boys a chance until well into college :lol
