News from HT: Giger Alien and Aliens' Queen

I didn't mean stand up like a man, but rather than how she was in 'Aliens'. She got up, and walked. You could compare that to the way a dinosaur would stand up. A T-Rex for instance. That's what I meant.

My point exactly. But, looking at the predalien right in front of me... . They made that one too, and, its not very posable. Yes, the limbs move, but you can't get much more out of it than a stable cowering pose. And mostly because the body is to heavy for the joints to cary the weight.

that's what i'm thinking. also kinda doubt it will be 1/6. the head alone would be about 2ft.
at that scale, the price point might be too high to sell enough of them. and given their history, it won't look like the movie, anyway.

I have to agree with this. Limited movement is not that big a deal. I know we all like to display some of the Preds in dynamic poses.
I will be 40 in Feb. 09, so I don't play with my Preds I just like to put them on display.

Thats a pity if its in doubt whether it'll be 1/6th or not. I'd be less likely to buy it if its not in correct scale with the powerloader.

I would take limited poseability to get a fully 1/6th scale Queen. And it wouldn't have to be that huge - just look at it fighting the powerloader - theres not much of size difference - most of it is length because of the tail.
