1/6 NEXT Hot Toys MCU Figure...?

I'm sure the NWH figures will happen. I do hope they at least put Tobey & Andrew up for PO by the year's end, since I like to PO a figure when the year begins, and thus far I don't have anything on my radar (guess it's a good thing I've held off on POing Mando Luke...). We'll see what they come up with this week.

The show isn't over yet and while I haven't seen it, I thought I heard their hero costumes hasn't even been shown yet. See what happens this week or just like Loki, it could be a few months. I doubt that cause Loki was around their Summer Con stuff.

The 5 Spidey villains...I haven't seen any toy maker reveal them yet. Patience is tough. That end Spidey suit destroys me wanting any other Spider-Man figure.

Hawkeye stuff would be great, but of course the Spidey stuff is what I really want...I'll calm down and trust what you guys say, I guess the other Spideys and a bunch of villains is a lot to reveal so soon. I'd buy everything including that end suit, and I only bought one HT the past year (Mysterio), I hope HT knows how many people have been waiting years for these figures lol

I looked again at Funko Pop, who always seem to be first in merch, have no NWH villains nor the final suit nor #2/#3. HT did release picks of their cosbaby Doc Ock so that seems to be the first NWH villain in any merch I've searched for. We might even get Hawkeye/Kate before any more NWH stuff!

Wonder how long Hot Toys is gonna make us wait before we see announcements for the spoiler characters and villains from No Way Home. Seems they are already teasing Matrix. Do you think we will see this week or they are gonna hold off.

It's gonna be a few weeks minimum. The movie still has 2 weeks left until it comes out in Japan and it doesn't even have a release date set for China.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one.

I get it's pretty much the classic suit he made for himself, but I didn't like the metallic shine on the blue. Made it seem like one of the metallic/iron suits from the Spider-Man game for PS4.
Unless a HT release of this figure really blows me away, I'll probably wait for the version of this from the next film when he has actually done something in this suit and we got a better look at it.

to wait 4-5 more years for it? It'll probably be 2024 or 2025 before Spider-Man in another movie, and then another 2 years for the HT figure to be released. And that also assumes the suit design won't get tweaked between movies. They usually change things at least a little bit to get us to double dip. The waist on the black & red suit is a perfect example, and that's supposed to be the same suit in the same (extended) scene bridging the end of FFH and the start of NWH. I guess in mid-swing Peter asked Edith to alter it via the nanotech.

Yes. I have no problem with that regarding this.

We saw so little of it, plus what we saw didn't excite me too much (the metallic blue). So I'm more than willing to wait to get a better look at this in the next film. Even when it's slightly tweaked by then.
Like I said, should the HT release really blow me away with a headsculpt or accessory wise, I might get it now, but if it doesn't (which I'm guessing it won't) I'm more than happy to wait and see.

I have the original Homecoming Spider-Man on my shelf and that's it. I might get the new Integrated Suit, but not sure yet. If I do it would be the non-deluxe version because I'm not going to pay € 130,- for an extra sculpt and a base . A base which will look silly when posed next to a possible Doc Ock anyway. (The tentacles). And I only like the Integrated Suit for the Iron Spider arms. That is something that is really tied to this MCU version of Spider-Man and would make for a nice display with the Andrew and Toby Spider-Men which will be coming soon hopefully. Even though he doesn't even use them in that suit.

I have to say, I was dissapointed with today's reveal. I'm a Star Wars guy, but I lean into the Jedi/Sith; I don't much care for the rest. We don't have Prequel Palpatine, Mace or even the teased TCW Kenobi, but we're getting C-List bounty hunters. I was rooting for at least an Ock. Well, there's one more to go before the year ends. Come on HT, I need to PO a figure on Jan. 1st, give me something I want!

Yes, it’s upscaled and the background blurred, to show the suit better.

Also the CGI of No Way Home in general is very wonky at times, especially during the final swing. That’s why we didn’t get a proper look at the suit.

To be honest, Tom's suits always looked off. They made it too smooth or have no interactions with the environment. Thus, the flat video game look. The TASM2 was beautiful because of the textures on the fabric and how they made the CGI suit react to the environment to make it look natural. You have to admit, TASM2 was a good looking film.
