The effects, the suit, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are the only good things in it. Has anyone ever made an edit to trim all the extra **** out?

New look at the suit.

How likely is it Hot Toys give us this suit? That's as close to a classic suit as we've ever got in live action.

Would be an instant buy for me.
I'd put the house on a certainly. Just a question of when really.

Is it just me or does it look like he's bulked up a bit more in those shots.

I bet Hot Toys will wait till their VG Classic Spidey releases within the next month or two and for that to sell through a little then announce this figure. Not smart to eat into your own sales like that. Plus there is already 3 Spideys from NWH to give some space to.

I will sell my HT vgm classic suit when they announce this. That is great but this is just THAT much better.
That classic suit is a figure I'd never sell. Perfect Spidey. Will gladly buy this new Holland suit as well if they make it.

Guess it's next year for any NWH announcements (unless they have a last one for tomorrow). I have to say, ending the year with a goddamn Eternals Pre-Order is underwhelming. I was rooting for a Tobey-Man, but I was expecting an Ock. Hell, I'd have been fine with a new Boba from TBOBF. But no, HT ends the year with bleached Angelina LARPing as Ayyyylmao Robot Athena (I'd say I hope they introduce a proper Athena alongside Russell Crowe Zeus in Ragnarok, but she'll be played by Tessa Thomson's lookalike with the way recent trends go, so...). I'm dissapointed, I have to say. I always PO a figure on New Year's, but this time I'm left with nothing. At least there's that new Paul Atreides figure, and the Mando Luke I never got around to POing, so there's that (I was hoping for a Spider-Man since in 2020 I POed Endgame Iron Man, in 2021 TDKR Batman, and I wanted to keep up the pattern).

So, taking into account that they did even an Eternals figure, I reckon we'll start seeing some NWH by next year. But with Boba Fett hitting now, and them still needing to announce a Hawkeye, it'll be some time. Then there's DS2, and Batman, and Kenobi, and... Jesus, we'll be POing figures for 2025 by the year's end.

I never say no one cares about X figure anymore cause there is always someone wanting some figure. But personally, I could care less about Thena/Hawkguy/Hawkgirl. Now if they make a big guy though...oh yes, I'll take him.

I am honestly interested in 9 more potential figures from NWH and could see a 10th if they reissue an Iron Spidey.

Always fluid in purchases, but so far the only Marvel one I am interested in is the VG Classic Spidey. That Carnage is really, really pricey but a maybe still. Then DC Batman XE, SW Mando Shiny, Mando Luke and Snowspeeder Luke.

That's a fair take, and if I'm honest I'm always for them compelting runs as, like you said, everyone's someone's favourite. I just think there should be better scheduling. Ending 2021 with Thena as the last figure revealed just leaves an underwhelming taste in my mouth.

"Big Guy"? TDKR Bane? Darkseid from ZSJL?

I'm done at 3 with NWH, and that's me stretching it. Ock, Goblin, Tobey-Man and done. Spider-Man is strictly a nostalgia thing for me, so I have to keep it contained. Most I could go over that line is a comic accurate Venom, which would put us years and years down the lane, Insomniac SM2 at the earliest. Then there's Superior Spider-Man & 2099 (a proper one, with a Miguel HS) and that's it from me Spider-Wise. I have to keep my BatShelf similarly contained, though I fear that I could expand that more if we ever get proper Ras, Talia, Damian, Azrael and the such figures. I've been skipping Arkham for the time being, but there are some designs that'd tempt me too much like AK Catwoman & Scarecrow. But if you cross the line to "oh, that looks cool" instead of "that's essential to my display" then you end up buying all the Green Lanterns just to have a cool Lantern display as you're running out of space with 10+ different 20-figure displays...

I mean, I'm a huge Ironfan and I only have one figure. I'd buy a Cruise Stark in a heartbeat, and there's two or so comic armours I'd buy as well. Can I really spend the same amount of cash on random GLs just to have Jordan flanked by a crowd? Every figure must have a story. I can justify one for completionism (like if I ever have TCW era Skywalker and Kenobi in my hands, I can see myself buying a Rex too to complete the set-up), or something like the FF even if Reed's my main favourite, but I cannot justify a a Killowog. Hal, Parallax Hal and Sinestro would be my main wants, then maybe one or two villains (Black Hand, Atrocitus) and someone like Kyle. When we're planning displays we forget each figure is ~300$ and that each time you buy one just for complationism's sake, you're saying it's worth the same as that one fan-favourite you POed Day 1 and were anxiously waiting for.

ATM I've got no Marvel POs, but next year will be an onslaught for me. Apart from waiting for the NWH stuff, my first priority is DS2, then the Star Wars stuff. If all the cameos turn out to be true, and they get figures, I'm in trouble. From Black Adam I'll stick with just a Fate if they make him. I'll probably pass on a Battinson and wait until TB2, unless the figure is an absolute banger and there's not much I want from Kenobi or the such. Dunno about Moon Knight, I definitely want him, but maybe I could wait for an S2 outfit. I still don't have a Loki for example as I'm waiting for the perfect look. BP2 is up on the air, same with Ant-Man 3 & Kang. And that's not including random announcements. Needless to say, lots of stuff, plus my already existing POs.

It's tough trying to plan displays when there's such an overabundance of so many characters coming out all at once. Classics versus favourites versus new things you never knew you wanted. It takes planning and patience, knowing when to stop and wait for another go, when to leave a figure on the backburner and the such.

Kingpin. Trying to avoid spoiling people, but you shouldn't be on here if you are afraid of spoilers honestly.

Yeah I decided against Batgirl. Looks good, but I need to be stingy.

I would be in trouble if the EU was being done. Katarn, Mara Jade, Jacen, Jaina, etc. Guess KK doesn't want my money. Dumb *****.

Hard to plan out as you never know how the movie/show will affect your decision making. Lots of cool looking figures I've passed up on cause of how the lore affected me. I have an wide bracket of what I could be interested in, but won't know totally until I view the medium.

Oh yeah, forgot about him. I'm staying away from the Street-Level stuff. Punisher & Moon Knight will be enough. A great looking Elektra would tempt me more than Daredevil, but I'm not holding my breath. A Ghost Rider too, but I'd put him with any Midnight Sons characters probably. If I get any. Black Knight seems as if he'll be with them in the MCU, then we've got Morbius, Blade and maybe Elsa. Strange I'd pose with the Illuminati & Wizards. I could mix the Wizards & Supernatural ones. We'll see, it depends just how far the MCU goes and what HT ends up doing.

Yeah I decided against Batgirl. Looks good, but I need to be stingy.
I POed her back when she went live, thinking I'd create a big Batman display. Then I realised I'm not a huge Batfan to the point where I'd need the entire BatFam or BatVillains, so I cancelled her. When I thought of all the SW stuff, then all the Marvel figures, especially the X-Men and the Cosmic/Magic ones, I dipped out. I'm trying to stick to a One-Figure-Per-Character rule but it's hard. I POed a TDKR Batman, but that's mostly because I want him to go with the Joker 3.0 when they announce it. I prefer Battinson's cowl and Arkham Knight Batman in general. But how would I display 3(+?) different Batmen without any other villains? I'll see as I go along.

Yeah, that's all true. Sad, really. What could've been... Take it from here Sting!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Eh, as long as the outfit is good, I can ignore some things and just get the figure as a representation. I'm more likely to be won over by a good performance/reimagining of a character I don't care for, than let a bad performance ruin something I like; provided the look is close to the source of course. I hated MCU Kang's debut (I know that was Immortus, that doesn't make it better, trust me), but the outfit at the end, minus the helmet, was very comic accurate. If his performance doesn't improve in AM3, and he doesn't get a face-covering helmet, I'll buy the figure, get an extra Bale head from ebay, and pretend he's Kang. His MCU role will be Gorr, a one-and-done whose figure I'll never get, so it's not like it'll clash with anything on the shelf. If Gruffudd's Reed is indeed in MoM, and HT makes a figure (highly unlikely) I'd even better stick his head on it, as Kang being Reed's descendant could thematically look similar for story purposes (in which case I could also wait for MCU Reed and swap heads then). It'll be "funny" if the one character who's known for multiple versions, is the only one stuck with one version in the era of Multiverses & Variants.

Still, I try to buy only what I truly like/love as a whole. The problem for me isn't a bad adaptation, since if the outfit's good I'm satisfied, and if the outfit's awful I just skip it. I've already made my peace with having no Fury, seeing how SLJ's performance is so sterile he's not even as cool as the Ultimate version. The problem is when I fall into the rabbit hole of trying to complete groups/themes and I find myself "wanting" characters of little importance based on how they'll compliment the ones I truly need. Which then, ironically, ends up drowning the important ones in a sea of plastic. Well, you have to be strict, that's the truth. You have to either stick with One-And-Done Classics, a single figure or two in a glass cabinet, or go for specific displays and not deviate.

Ah yeah I forgot about his HM suit eyes
Why wouldn't it? His homemade suit has them, it's basically a staple of Spider-Man now.
I also forgot about his homemade suit eyes. So it is a Holland’s Parker invention. I think they’re here to stay, given how helpful and inventive it was from a visual storytelling perspective.

Disney officially selling merchandise with the spoiler characters on their website for No Way Home. So I guess it is officially time we start getting announcements hopefully soon. Sure it is just t-shirts. But still a good sign.
