I know fans have been asking for a diecast of this but another Iron Man isn't for me.

Hopefully we get some good stuff over the next few days. Was honestly hoping for another release (from any brand) but doesn't look like that is happening just yet.

No PO before their event on thursday i bet. They will reveal their DC Iron Man Mark I, Cyborg, Loki, Sylvie and possibly half a dozen new prototypes and then start another run of PO with most of those reveals.

While I’m sure the next release will probably be either Mando related or Bespin Han, I’d prefer either Geonosis Padme or Poe Dameron.

I don’t think we will ever see Poe, unless he’s in Rogue Squadron which I doubt (rumor has it takes place after TROS)

Yeah I get this thread and the "NEXT Hot Toys MCU Figure...?" thread mixed up because Marvel figs appear every time someone says a SW fig is about to be announced.

Just as an aside, I *really* wanna know how much that IM diecast is going to cost!! LOL my guesstimate is $750. That price tag is gonna shoot for the moon. So glad its not a thing I have to have, whew. The figure gods have cut me some slack.

That's about where I think the price comes in, between 600-750. The Hulkbuster was a couple years ago and was 1200 so half that plus inflation. I also don't need it, which is a relief.

I want the other HT Sandtrooper(s), the Snow Commander, the Death Star Trooper, the ROTJ Scout and Speederbike, the 1/4 Stormie, Veers in AT-AT armor and a Death Star Droid - this droid can be made by Sideshow too. Come on Hot Toys!!

That would be infuriating and I would absolutely boycott the movie. If Rogue Squadron isn't starring Wedge, with supporting characters pulling from some of Gavin Darklighter, Hobbie Klivian, Corran Horn, Tycho Celchu, Pash Cracken, etc then what's the point? Hell, even bring in Kasan Moor from the games if they want a woman, I don't care.

If there aren't legacy characters and a story of Rebels vs. Empire it's not Rogue Squadron and I wouldn't be interested. Hope Disney doesn't screw this one up too.

I’ll see it regardless on opening night but I don’t care either way, pilots are the least interesting aspect of Star Wars to me

Dude, you've seen what they've done. No way do we see any of those except for Wedge. I remember Denis Lawson saying he didn't want to be in a SW film unless he had a decent role. I guess he caved since he was in TROS for a small cameo.

Don’t mind unfounded rumors. Words are being misinterpreted and taken out of context again. I mean, good grief, the logo has a T-65 X-Wing in the middle of it and the teaser has a T-65 on the runway.

Patty Jenkins has fully acknowledged the source material in a recent interview which is a much different approach than in the past.

It seemed like she always understood the Rogue Squadron concept as a whole before, and that appears to be the case. I think there’s room for hope, though I know it could be a disaster as well.

“The Michael Stackpole books and the video games and all of the Rogue Squadron books, there’s an incredible history that’s really important to honor. And yet, it must be brought to a new age, because we have to tell a new story with it and so you’re trying to blend the best of everything and make it the great fighter-pilot movie, which I’ve always wanted to make, as well. It’s a big brew of things that you’re trying to put together and still try to keep a simple story.”

Rogue Squadron was one of the most important parts of Star Wars for me growing up. That was the most painful loss for me when the EU was axed.

I have multiple sets of comics, books, graphic novels, games, figures, and a large number of helmets. My spouse and I also have full flight suits.

I am keeping my expectations in check. I would be happy if even some of those characters return, but I know there’s a chance they won’t.

I expect to see Wedge recast with a younger actor, but it wouldn’t be the same without Hobbie and Wes at the very least. I do hope that they keep a good mix of various humans and established aliens.

Also, there were a fair number of women in Rogue Squadron aside from Kasan Moor like Plourr Ilo, Ibtisam, Aril Nunb, Lujayne Forge, Inyri Forge, and Erisi Dlarit.

If it has anything to do with the Disney trilogy it is basically box office and merchandise suicide. They can’t cram a cute baby Yoda in to get on everyone’s good side again. I would never trust kk, ever. Same here, I would completely avoid it. Rogue squadron is about the rebels from episode 4-6. Anything else is bs.
