Really? That soon? I had no idea the Summer Showcase and SS Con were two different things. Is the former taking place in Asia?

Yeah it will be held on the 15th, it seems this time Hot Toys will organize the event at their newly established Echo Base.

Someone is complaining about SW? Have you seen how many Mando figures there is lately? DC is even lucky to get 1, although another rumored tease is to be coming for DC. Thought it would be this morning.

Thank you. Wow, I had no idea the Armorer was for this event. Maybe there's hope for another SW exclusive at Sideshow Con then.

I doubt there will be more exclusives for SS Con. Prior to the pandemic, ACG and SDCC had the same exclusives. This year, it's HT's own Summer event and SS Con. They'll likely share the same exclusives.

Still wondering if that Super Battle Droid will show up, double value for TCW and Mando:

Amen to that. I’m almost considering picking up a second one and customizing into Axe Woves. For a company that loves repaints,

I just don’t see him being on HT’s radar, especially since he even seemed to fall off Favreau/Filoni’s at the end of the season

For me, my most wanted HT SW stuff is:

Scout trooper with speeder bike
General Grievous


There's other stuff I want of course, but those two things are my biggest wants right now.

And Bespin Han didn't even make the cut.

My biggest want right now is a ROTS Palpatine and either a ROTS or ROTJ Vader. TROS Sidious is a close runner up. The movie was ****, but the new getup was great. I can't justify 1K$ dollars for "old man in black robe" but the red makes him pop more.

The Sidious + Chair + Royal Guards pack is next to the Batmobile and the such in my "One Day..." list. I do wish they'd make a Sidious prequel so that we could get a young Sidious as well.

Curious what the fate of Bespin Luke, Padme and TCW Obi-Wan is. Can never put anything out to pasture with HT, but if we don't see them at the events this month... Padme was last seen in 2019 SDCC right? Same with 212, BD, Fisto. Bespin Luke was seen last year at NYCC. Best bet is TCW Obi at the moment.

There was no NYCC or SDCC last year - I think you're just thinking of when Sideshow showed stuff at their virtual con over the summer.
