I was spoiled by all the Mando releases after season 2. I am surprised about the lack of reaction for the BOBF. I thought at least Cad Bane would be out by now.

There was so much hype for the show and HT dropped two clones and two mandalorians which had nothing to do with the show.

HT confuses me. SW has such a deep cast of characters to choose from. Bossk for example. HT didn't need for him to appear in BOBF, they can drop him any time and he would sell.

I am going to have the opposite problem with EXO6. With their plans and short PO time frames, hard decisions are ahead.

I wouldn't be worried unless you see Hasbro releasing all the BoBF figures and HT doesn't do anything a month or two after Hasbro.

Pre-Orders: Green Goblin (1/23), Koska Reeves (1/25), Axe Woves (1/25), Doc Ock (2/6), 1/4 Boba (2/9), Delorean (2/18), Peacemaker (2/25)

Releases: Mando Boba (1/5), Artilley Trooper (1/10), Tank Commander (1/14), PS4 Spidey (2/7)

Tough start to the year to say the least.

poo really hit the fan with Omicorn over there. SS is now shipping faster than the 2nd batch orders I have with HK sellers.

Yeah, I didn't realize how bad it was over there until I was looking at their numbers this morning. It's strange considering Hong Kong really hasn't had a problem since the very start of the pandemic, they've mostly been able to avoid issues and keep their infection numbers under 100 cases consistently.

I think they've suspended flights and people coming into/leaving the country, so hopefully things sort themselves out sooner rather than later over there. Crazy, the rest of the world seems to be doing pretty well.

Hopefully we don’t have everything like ahsoka, anakin, Luke snowspeeder, and jango drop at once. I started flex pay for a few upcoming orders so I don’t have everything charging at the same time. Especially after I got hit by ig11, the armorer Rex, 501, and coruscant guard all close to each other. I may need to start selling my naughty pics online to pay for this stuff. The place has been a hermit city for 2 years. Simply delayed the inevitable and now here we are. HK is unrecognizable from 3 years ago and it won’t return to what it once was, very sad.

Forgive my ignorance but what do you mean, exactly? Is this in reference to covid, or an effect of the Chinese unofficially annexing the country?

If anything, they should put out some POs to generate revenue if their store traffic is dramatically lowered. If their development is hampered, now is the time to use those vintage boxes to reissue some ANH figures. I don't mind BTTF2 reissues also.

No reissues, way too many existing preorders and new figures to make. Development can be done remotely, it's the factories that suffer from shutdowns.

If you look at the recent releases, it seems their development is very slow so far this year. SW is not high in the queue considering NWH, Hawkeye, Classic Loki and Batman. Their Goblin sculpt is not shown yet and they said Ock sculpt is to be changed. Their factories are not in HK so it shouldn't be affected, besides the power shut down that's across the board.

The painting is done in South Korea and the other production stuff is in China, right?

I honestly have no idea where their R&D are done. I just know their factories are not in HK. My later batch orders from HK vendors are very slow though. I am still waiting for Shoretrooper Grunt, Tank Commander, Boba 2 pack, Artillery Trooper.

mainly the latter. Covid has just been a handy vehicle for it.

I can't even be bothered to be angry about those anymore. As much as I want characters like Padme, that Death Star Trooper and Mace Windu, it'll be 2030 by the time they actually come out.

I still have some faint hope that they'll one day do a Hux so that I can pair him with my Kylo.

What can I say, I liked some of the FO aesthetics... It's Star Wars, it may take a decade but I'm not ruling anything out.
