Hoping they tease Walker too. Looks like Hasbro are showing the FATWS figures on Monday.
If two announcements next week, Falcon is a certainty and Night Wing a possibility. John Walker also feels like it could be given a shot at by Hot Toys...
Then, i'll cross fingers for an actual Star Wars may 4th announcement (or announcements). OT or PT related would be nice for a change.

Funny that there is no guarantee we get a Star Wars announcement on may 4. Hot toys is weird about anniversaries and things like that. We are way overdue for an ot/pt preorder. It will probably be season 2 mando.

He destroyed the figure on the Fallon show right before TFA came out in 2015. It was the press tour leading up to the film. Stormtrooper Han was announced in early 2016 I think. It was definitely after, but they already had the prototype done for the figure.
Definitely odd nothing has come out since he wrecked his figure on air, but I'm sure it can't be the reason.

Has there been anything Ford related made in the last couple years that hasn't been a Star Wars Black Series or 3 3/4" figure of Ford from any line? The SH Figuarts Han Solo came out in 2017 and Bandai did a Han Stormtrooper model kit a couple years ago now too. But anything bigger/higher end?

Didn't we all get a big fat nothing last year on May 4th?
That's what i thought but was reminded in another thread that we got the TCW line announcement with Rex PO shortly (about a week) after.

I'm not at all sure that isn't the reason, since this would be seen as a huge [and unwarranted] disrespect. Bespin Han would be a super-easy figure to make, but nada. Meanwhile we get stuff like the new FatWS Bucky figure in five minutes flat.
We got two? versions of the "Solo" film version of Han, announced in a respectable time frame and those figures were popular. But still no Bespin Han.

It may be a little bit of everything together regarding the Ford situation: he has likeness rights on high end merch and isn't cheap AND HT is not happy about his disrespect of their hard work so they are less inclined to follow up with their proto and instead move on to the bigger bucks made on Mando merch.
The lack of Ford toys only hurts Ford, doesn't dent HT or anyone else who has plenty of other characters to pursue.

So we're going on 4 years then right.
It may not hurt but it certainly doesn't help. How many more Bespin Leias would they have sold if Bespin Han was announced alongside her? I skipped her but may have bought if they were announced together. She literally had zero accessories so another figure is pretty essential to me to display her with.
I really don't think too many more Bespin Leias would have sold because Han was available. Bespin Leia verges on Barbie, I don't imagine too many were made or sold at these prices. Girl doll collectors and completists only.
As time passes, Han Solo looses his significance. He's a character from the 80's, that's a long time ago, held onto for the old generation. New kids growing up on the PT don't really care for Han Solo... even newer kids only know him as the old man who died. His character is fading... and Ford isn't doing that legacy any favors.
Han Bespin would sell well no doubt but how much profit do you really think HT would make on the one doll? They are better off doing Mando stuff right now.

I would buy it. But I am sick and need help. I do think the bespin escape leia would look great with lando. You are right about Han Solo. Hot toys makes money with or without Ford. He is really only screwing the people who want his dollies.
