By the time they produce their first figure, the series will end. So, no need to rush.

Hey guys, noticed a bunch of the bodies of my figures have become loose. Very annoying. Old Ben is very loose, doesn’t require much force to move his limbs. (Lol). Another figure that’s quite new that’s loose is the ROTJ stormtrooper. It’s worse than my ANH troopers, wonder what body it’s using..? Museum poses only.

You guys who’ve been in the game at least 10 years, have you noticed a worsening of HT bodies or a large improvement? How loose are your figures?

I rarely repose my figures but I haven’t noticed that at all with hot toys. My old marmit and medicom figures have either got loose or very stiff thou

No problem so far with my figures. I usually pose them a few times when I get them, and after a while I might change their poses a bit. Never had any issues so far, except for the Medicom Stormie and Shadow Stormtrooper who are a bit stiff.

I see. Reason why you might not have noticed is the absence of repositioning the figures. I like to repose some of my figures, usually pretty stiff out of the box. Haven't noticed this on all figures, just a couple of them. Some being older and some newer. 501st troopers have started to feel a bit loose.

Worst case scenario I guess one can buy a few replacement bodies. A bit of a hassle to change them though, especially older figures with refined faux leather parts.

I guess they are happy with how the chromed Mando came out. - Hot Toys - TMS051/2 - Mandalorian and Grogu (Season 2)
We now have what A chrome Death Trooper? and a Chrome Clonetrooper?
So chromed is the new Venomized. I imagine everything they can will get a chromed re-release?
:lol

Chrome Fett up next!
If it's removable helmet, they better give that toothy grin an all chrome grill.😁

Actually footage of me waiting for releases or decent announcements

Now that the ROTJ Scout has been released isn't Bespin Luke 2.0 the last OT figure on the books? A terrific figure I have already had for years. This is what mismanagement looks like. It seems a minor miracle that we ever got the Leia/Wicket two pack at this point.

That's correct.

The only OT era figure up for pre-order right now is Bespin Luke. The only PT era figures are the shiny Phase I clone trooper and pilot, and that silly 3PO. The only Clone Wars era figures are Jesse, Hunter and Echo.

Everything else is either Mandalorian-era or the Kenobi/Vader from the Kenobi show.

So if you're burned out on Mando and still want something new for your Star Wars collection, you've got 7 options before mid 2024. Hot Toys really dropped the ball on this line.

And somehow the Marvel fans still think they prioritize Star Wars.

The amount of important Star Wars characters missing is honestly unheard of compared to Marvel. Marvel’s missing characters are tertiary like Valkyrie, not the gaping holes like Padme and Mace, and that doesn’t even begin to talk about the OT which still misses KEY outfits for the original three main characters. Can you imagine Hot Toys missing out on key Iron Man or Captain America outfits?

As long as they can cheaply make troopers/droids/Boba repaints etc and people will eat them up, they will. I’m not saying that these figures should stop, but there’s no reason it should be essentially all Hot Toys offers when, again, they’re missing some of the most important pieces in this universe.
