I was thinking about going this weekend but decided against it.

Would love to see something new but keeping my expectations low. Would like to see Jesse and Vaughn though, they've yet to pop up at any of these cons or conventions.
My wife and I went every year from 2014-2019, this will be our first year since (there was no NYCC in 2020 and we just didn't want to go last year). Excited to be going back. The wife bought an autograph session from Sebastan Stan, so that should be cool to meet him. If you go next year, let me know, would be happy to say hello!

I know Jesse and Vaughn likely won't release until early next year but Sideshow did have their release as 4Q this year when they put them up, so I'm hoping they'll be on display.

Really I'm just hoping Mace or something from the AOTC second wave is on display, or a new clone trooper. I don't even need Fives or Wolffe to be happy right now, give me a generic 212th soldier and I'll feel hope again.

Wouldn't be surprised if some kind of Cassian figure is on display, but then again, Hot Toys doesn't seem to be timely on those things these days.

Not expecting any major reveal but looking forward to more shots of 5th Brother and 4th Sister to the very least on the Star Wars front.
Agreed. The days of real surprises at many of these events are few and far between imo.

No doubt they'll show Cobb Vanth, Black Adam, maybe the Inquisitors and all the other figures we already know about.

But I really hope I am wrong.

Wonder if they will do the wooly hat/poncho Nerf Herder farmer Andor from Ep5 ?

I don't think I'd bite for that version. If it does S2 closer to Rogue One surely has to have a more Rogue One version using the same headsculpt.

Agreed, it’s gotta be the Rogue One look.

Sideshow Booth Tour live now. From what i can see, nothing new on the Star Wars front for now.

Yeah I'd definitely let you know, these conventions can always be a good time.

I've heard nothing but good things about Stan at these things, that should be an awesome experience.

Ever since that Mace preview for the Geonosis B1 in May, everyone is just patiently (impatiently) waiting for anything on him, besides Kenobi show Vader and Tobey Spidey, he'll be the biggest seller of the year for them.

Between this and SDCC the actual con ‘reveals‘ by hot toys have been as garbage as ever. I felt like that big table was the exact same set up from a year and a half ago, all in identical poses. If not for summer showcase, this year would have been beyond disappointing for me as a collector. It’s obvious that Hot Toys do not care about these American cons anymore.

Starting to think many on this board were correct about Wave 2 of AOTC being a farce. Hey I’m glad they’re making every inquisitor from the Kenobi show though!

Nothing new? Did hot toys just say open some figures that already shipped and put them on display? I would say it was a letdown but I expected nothing. Also, maybe aotc wave 2 will be for the 50th anniversary of the movie.

They are mostly promoting the figures that are now clogging their warehouse. We'll get to see new stuff when thay have cleared some space.
Beside, we could still get a surprise or two by the end of the week-end.

Hard times make people make hard choices.... figures get cut.
I agree, but we've already had 4 Vaders, 2 or 3 Mauls, every stormtrooper variant and figures like Baze Malbus, AOTC Padme have been shown and never seen again. In particular Rogue One, so close to completing the set and no mention of Andor or Bodhi. I wonder if Hot Toys wasn't allowed to release a Cassian figure due to the series being developed? Who knows?
