At this stage, I reckon they'll leave Mando Luke and s.2 Din Djarin for SDCC, so that only really leaves Hunter and CW Obi-Wan on the table* for possible imminent releases. Having said that it smells like a Spider-man week.

I remember how JC Hong said there were a lot of licensor issues with the ROTS Kenobi figure. For some reason, it sounds like Lucasfilm meddled with that sculpt more than usual...I think that's how the weird bottom lip came about. I can't help but wonder if there's a licensor holdup with the CW version too. Makes no sense he hasn't gone up otherwise.

How long did it take the Bo-Katan and Ahsoka figures to go up after their episodes? Hot Toys seemingly hasn't gotten heads up on character designs for Mando which explains why it's taking so long to get Mando Luke. Probably still making the new sculpt but I would imagine it's coming sooner rather than later by now.

I would imagine Hunter will be the next Star Wars announcement since the proto is already out in the Echo photos. It's anyone's guess after that. Mando Luke? V3 Mando? Koska Reeves? Back to the PT? Some sneaky OT stuff? No way they have a long Star Wars lull before Book of Boba in December.

Well Luke was kept top secret, a lot of people working on the show didn't even know about it.

Maybe they're holding back on CW Obi-Wan until there's a more definitive date for the Kenobi show. That way they could put it up for pre-order roughly a year from the start date and have it release at the same time as the show. I think it was mentioned elsewhere that we'll be seeing flashbacks of Anakin in his early CW outfit, so it stands to reason we'll also see live-action Obi-Wan in his CW armour. If that's the case then that figure will sell out quickly.

That's kind of my point. Grogu was kept top secret too and it took a while for toy companies across the board to get stuff out. Favreau and Filoni have done a great job keeping things under wraps, to their credit. The surprise of certain characters/moments has made elements of the show iconic almost instantly. But that means RnD from Hasbro and Hot Toys alike starts the Monday after the show airs, thus the delay.

It took Hot Toys a few months to get Bo-Katan up after her episode aired so I'm sure they're working on Luke. But with how big of a Star Wars fan Howard is, he probably marked out as much as any of us when Luke showed up. I'm sure they're going to get this figure exactly right. Would be surprised if we don't see something by the end of the summer though.

The CW Kenobi figure is almost as baffling as Bespin Han. Hopefully both happen sooner than later. I kinda agree with Trips that Luke and V3 Mando will probably be saved for SDCC now. If there is a surprise release like Kuiil I think the Armorer makes the most sense, along with Cobb Vanth because his armor is already made and he is very likely to reappear in the show. Hopefully Star Wars gets a couple convention exclusives this year as I think last year we got snubbed.

They must have showed some more stuff than last time, Hot Toys had the Dark Troopers up pretty early and you'd figure fully molded figures like that take a while to design. Hot Toys has the only Dark Trooper figure available at all oddly.

I'm think when we get General Kenobi, we'll also get the 212th with him, kinda like how we got Ahsoka and the 501st/322nd with her.

I don’t really mind her, personally. We’ve yet to find out what her deal actually is.

Agreed, too early to tell how she'll end up but only 6 episodes in and I don't hate her yet.

That can quickly change though.
