Next Lord of the Rings figure...?

This seems unbelievable to me. Near 10 years with the license... and the Asmus Lurtz has become the HT C-3PO.

We actually have all the 3D modles sculpted and made.
we just don't feel ready to produce a figure at this size with premire quality.
if it is only statue, we would have it out years ago.

I just don't understand the issue with the body. I mean, there's tons of larger bodies out there. There's not that much body showing.

Yeah, I asked them about a year ago as well and they said they'd consider it, so good to know it is on the list.

This looks great. Please don't use a seamless body. Just dye an existing body with single arm and knee joints, the dark colour of the skin tone will help hide the joints. Then release a bunch of uruks please

Could you do a 1/6 statue for Lurtz with interchange parts like Gollums legs so for example a straight arm and a bent arm, head moves but body is a solid but clothed piece. same with azog.
we are desperate for Uruk hai.

@Asmus Spare no expense with developing Lurtz and we shall do the same when buying it.

Put him in the Crown Line with rooted hair, real leather/ metal armour and weapons, a unique body, two heads- one neutral snarling expression and one roaring with rage. If it helps, as it appears to have with producing many Gollum bodies, do a deluxe pack including newborn Lurtz.

Regarding the body; seamless is great aesthetically but Lurtz needs to be highly textured with multiple colour tones to his skin along with different degrees of matte/gloss finish for white paint and blood. Applying all that to durable rubber or silicone and avoiding the unsightly bunching and deforming of the bicep when the arm is bent is understandably quite challenging. I want Asmus to succeed with this but, if it’s just not manageable, a Lurtz with visible joints is better than no Lurtz at all.

In my humble option, you should absolutely be studying Hot Toys Hellboy 2019 figure to develop that sort of body.

Reverse engineer that mo fo and you’ll be clear sailing. Stray but a little, and you will fail, to the ruin of all

Possessed Galadriel is a great shout. I’m so annoyed I didn’t learn of the Weta statue until POs were sold out.

Holy moly, this looks great.

Hard plastic body with single-jointed elbows and knees is the move. Something like what Hot Toys does with their Predators:
