Sadly it would appear he never got around to reading "Avoiding Plot Holes for Dummies".

I want one of these...

I don't think we can complain too much, Rex, Cody, Yoda, Gammy, Hammerhead, plus that awesome Clone Lt.

I just want a Luke that looks like Luke, in Pilot Gear.:exactly:

To be honest, those should be really easy to do as custom ones with all the WWII parts around in the custom shops ...

I'd still love to have those that are hard to make up from scratch:
Snowtrooper, Snowtrooper Captain/ Commander, Scout Trooper and yes, although Non-OT, I'd vote for a ...

CC-1138 aka Marshall Commander Bacara! Although being not, he looks so OT I'd give up my OT-only testimony.
As iconic as Codys hologram briefing earlier in the timeline, I really do LOVE the aesthetics of him during order 66:

I don't want customs. I want manufactured, licensed figures.

I thought the very same before, but was so annoyed to learn apart from the fancy product shots of Sideshow Industries, those great looking guys can't stand up straight without a display stand. Electrified by the glamorous poses of the regular Stormtrooper on the Sideshow Website, I bought it and was dissapointed to the ground and below. Now mine is on a True Type body and is a hell of a guy!

That's why I started customizing, nothing less. Oh, and very soon after realizing Sideshow neglects the basic icons of OT Troops, I started on a Biker Scout and then snowtrooper and ... aaw, the rest is history ...

Yup. The original bodies they used were pretty rough, and the first efforts on the new body were too. But that's history now. The G.I.Joe figures are excellent. It's no TrueType, because that's the best body in the industry and it doesn't belong to them, but it's not hard to switch them over if you can't live without it. However, nothing they're producing now needs it.

As for neglecting Bikers and Snowtroopers, I'm glad they waited until they got things straight with the armiture, and the fact that they're taking their time bodes well. Neither of them are too far off, and based on how the clones (and Sandtroopers) have turned out, I have no doubt they'll be amazing when we get them.

I would love them to do so, but I am afraid the waiting does mean neither they're already on to building them nor taking a long time to improve quality ...
I'm afraid they have given in to the dark side of quick fast money making with those various clo(w)nes ... but always keep fingers crossed, OT-Lovers!

I'm pretty sure they said somewhere that Hoth figures would be coming this year.

I don't have any recollection of when Bikers were predicted for, but I do know they're planning on offering speeder bikes as well.

EDIT: found it. late 2011, but no mention of Snowtroopers specifically. Sorry. :dunno

I know there was a recent Ask Sideshow where they said the snow and scout troopers are in development. I want to say it's from around Nov or so.

That would suck.

Going through the Q&A, I saw that Ep.1 Obi-wan was shipping this year. IG-88 and Gree too. They also mentioned that the droids would be early 2012, and that 4LOM was at the top of the list for reuses of 3PO's mold because they wanted to complete the ESB bounty hunters sooner rather than later.

This really has been a ho-hum year for me in terms of SW 1/6 releases. I currently have no Star Wars 1/6 on order from Sideshow.
