Cantina 2-packs I wanna see are Tonnika Sisters, Kabe & Muftak and my fave monster couple Dice Ibegon & Lak Sivrak. Or how about an Oola & Yarna d'al' Gargan 2-pack?

I have read before that there are rights issue revolving around the Tonnika Sisters, thats why we don't see any Hasbro action figures.

That would make sense. But if it's true I wonder what kind of rights issue it could be, since they have been in some EU stuff.:dunno

i believe its likenesses of the actresses - not the characters themselves

If that's it then it makes me curious as to what happened, since I thought GL had all the likeness rights pretty well wrapped up:pfft:. Although I'm no expert, that's for sure. It's kinda funny that 33 years after watching the original I'm still finding out new things about it:slap.

Chewie...PLEASE!

I've been wanting a GREAT Chewbacca 1/6 scale figure for a LONG time! I got the "poofy" Kenner one back in the 1990s. I didn't even open it up for display. I would've been embarassed. It looked like a bad Muppet gone wrong! :horror

Then I got the slightly better molded plastic Chewie from Hasbro after that. It's decent enough for display so I did. That's where I'm at now....:impatient:

Is it that hard Sideshow to make a decent Chewie? I guess and hope Hot Toys anwers my call for a good Chewie in their newly announced Star Wars "DX Masterpiece" line....

Here's hoping for the best that Chewie finally gets a great figure.

I think how to do the fur is the biggest issue, obviously :slap Might have to be done manually which would really drive up the cost. I would guess Hot Toys might be the ones who could do it and get away with charging $400 to $500? :dunno Some people in the star wars custom section have taken the hard hasbro figure and applied fur manually and come out with a decent looking figure.

I would be willing to pay HT prices (but not $400) if Chewie was done extremely well, like eyes popping out of my head good:horror:thud:. I could see HT doing it and using that Avatar body as a base. Maybe a couple different versions could be made, like one with real fur and one that was sculpted for a little cheaper. Then collectors could decide which one they wanted to get:dunno. Of course you would have the completist people that would have to have one of each:cuckoo:, and yes, I'm ashamed to admit that I would fall into that bunch:gah:.:lol

I can relate to the completist people comment. SS suckered me into ordering a regular set of battle droids in addition to the exclusive. Why you ask? Because the regular set has a different number on the back of one of the droids than the exclusive...:slap

The Avatar body is way too tall for Chewie.

Did I miss something? Did Hot Toys give Star Wars it's own line with them, now?
