Re: 1/6 Cyborg Maul anyone??

galacticboy, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view. . :lol

Agreed :lol

But, I still stand by the idea that (at least on film) no character that "died" spontaneously came back. Dooku, Jango, Qui Gonn, etc... once clearly dead stayed that way. Anakin was jacked up pretty bad, but was still alive during surgery. I'd even agree that the Grievous type stuff is out there; but I'd again assume he was at least partially alive (kind of like Robocop) before the transferred all the bits and pieces over :huh

Maul while underutilized, served his purpose and was cut in half and fell down an awful long shaft. No way if he was "supposed" to live would he not have made appearances in Ep 2 and 3... way too much money to be had with a resurrection of the PT heir apparent to Fett.

It was supposedly reported that the ending for ROTS will be slightly altered for the 3D release. Instead of Yoda and Obi-Wan talking about Qui Gon the conversation will go like this:

"On Tatooine, more training have I for you. The path to immortality, learned by your old adversary...."

"Darth Maul??"

Obi-Wan and Yoda both turn to the camera and reveal SITH EYES to the audience. Freeze frame and zoom in slowly as Vincent Price's laughter from the end of Thriller echos ominously. End credits.

Well crap, if that happens then I totally believe its possible :hi5:

There is speculation on other boards that Sideshow will offer another clone for SDCC (which start previewing in Late March/Early April), what are the odds it'll be the Clone Pilot to finish off the AOTC offerings?

I would say thats very much a possiblity. Wasn't there a set of ROTS clones that were purple that followed Mace? They could do something like that as well.

Gotta say; Sideshow needs to step it up... I've only got Boba and the DX Luke on pre-order :huh

I guess with a lull I could try and find a good deal on a Bith Nodal or something else :huh

Since I'm an OT freak I would buy any figure Sideshow makes from the OT, even a Sebastian Shaw Anakin. Also, I think Sideshow could pull off a great looking Tarkin. As far as PT stuff goes I could go for a "Mace Windu's squad Airborne Trooper", I'd also like to see a Galactic Marine and clone pilot please.

I would buy this:

OK...I'ma get flamed for this but...

I would like to see a Naboo pilot. Or a Naboo politician like maybe Sio Bibble.

I think a Naboo pilot could be cool... I personally wouldn't buy one, but the uniforms looked cool enough and nothing wrong with more military figures being released.

Ironically I wouldn't buy a Naboo pilot but I would consider a 1:6 Naboo Fighter.

I don't know where I'm at anymore with my SSC figure collecting. I mean SSC can never do a Luke again, even HT need to work on their upcoming version but any SSC Luke's are going to take some serious work to get close to HT.

If anyone does a Chewie the SSC Han's are going to look too outdated to go with it as will Leia.

I don't know if I should stop for a while and just wait and see what comes out. SSC Clones and Aliens have been awesome though, just finally got Hammerhead, wow, he's sensational.

Clone Pilot, I'm up for that, :yess: but the OT boys heads would :explode:
