HT ANH Han Solo.

It'll be a wait for that. :( I'd much prefer a Bespin Han but ANH Han is better than no Han, plus we could just use SS parts to bash a Bespin. Yeah, I know there's differences in color of pants etc but I don't care.

Oh, and I hope to GOD they find someone that can sculpt Ford this time around! Its ridiculous how little quality Ford sculpts we have.

I want Walrusman the most, but I too would like to see cheaper droids. I did give in and buy the Bandai C-3PO though, so I have no right to carry on that crusade personally. I am weak and easily influenced by peer pressure.

I'm just poor, and not particularly obsessive when it comes to anything that doesn't have a uterus.

The sad thing about Tamashii making Sideshow's droids for them is that there will probably never be a Power Droid, an R5-D4, a 2-1B, etc.

That is true. I don't think there are many out there willing to pay $400 for a 2-1B. They did make IG-88 and the Battle Droids, so maybe they just wanted to team up with Bandai to make super deluxe versions of the main two, but they'll still be making their own droids as well. You never know.

That's the hook I'm hanging all my dreams on.

I may spring for a Bandai R2. Not sure if that means I need a die-cast 3PO or not. I'll know when/if they ever get around to revealing him.

Well R2 will hopefully be a little cheaper and the 3PO price seems to keep dropping as people undercut each other in the for sale section, so you might be in a pretty good position to get one if you do decide to. C-3PO isn't my favorite character, but the figure is very, very nice. I don't think it'd be any less nice if it looked the same, but was made from plastic and was priced cheaper, but the kids like the metal figures these days.

:exactly::FREAK: (Like me!)

That figure is really cool. I think THE best SW 1/6th ever made. I think SS will continue to develop their droids. Just some of them, I feel, dont make good translations into PVC like the battle droids, IG-88, etc.

Yes, it really depends on your personal aesthetic taste. Something about the integrity of a Droid being actually made from metal has a museum authentic feel to it, but again, that's a personal take on it. I would decide soon as once that R2 is revealed (hopefully in a few weeks) those prices are not going to hold.

THAT's your list with financial constraints and space issues?!? :thud:

Lol. Yeah sounds mad I know. Most of them are actually replacements for customs or hasbro figures so the space is covered

(There's collection pics in the link in my signature. )

And even if sideshow made them it would be a whole to release them all.

And if I'm honest I wonder if well get obscure characters any more :(

You know .... Like Dooku :)

OK we got a Commander Wolffe announcement.:yess:
I'm still worried about Disney messing around with licensing for toys and more to the point the 1/6 scale license.
Parts of Lucas Arts have shut down, there'll be no more video games for a while.
Does anyone know of Sideshow is in contact with Disney/Lucas Films?
:dunno

Disney actualy has little to nothing to do with the Liscense in regards to sideshow, OR hot toys. Yes, the Lucasfilm liscensing department meets with them to approve or disprove of their product ideas.
But teh Actual 1/6th Liscense is a sub-liscense from Hasbro. SO unless disney revokes Hasbro's liscense ( whichs seems INCREDABLY unlikely), we will not see any changes in 1/6th stuff.

WE will see if that opinion holds up when the paint starts to flake off the die-cast toys. Or the first time one of them falls over and smashes every shelf in the deltof on the way down

NO dicast here. Skipped 3p0 JUST BECUASE he had it.

Back on topic:
Bring me General Grevious
Bring me sideshow Droids
Bring me Hot toys anything
Bring me Ashoka Tano
Bring me ANY SW 1/6th from ANY sorce. PT, OT, CW, EU, VG, TOR, whatever.,

Lerath666

I had forgotten Ashoka, um yeah I buy that too.

My list is of course subject to awesome surprises.

Just looking forward to Grievous finally being up for sale! Maybe!

And HT Han, but that's not til next year, probably.

Perhaps a Sideshow Hoth Han?

The figure is sensational - you're missing out big time. :huh

I'm just hoping that there will be some new announcement/PO for a SW figure that is from one of the films...but that isn't a clone variant or a re-fit/re-issue of a figure we already have.

Vader, Fett and Yoda are great characters that have been translated into 1/6 scale by Sideshow with some success....but I also want to see more variety again...last year we had some great SW figures from Sideshow...the Snow Trooper, Bossk, the Tusken Raider...and they are all still available. I hope that the fact that these didn't sell out quickly isn't deterring Sideshow from tackling more new figures...those three from last year are among the best sixth-scale SW SS has done....

While other companies are adding their sixth-scale offerings into the mix (well, maybe HT will offer another SW figure before, oh before the rapture or something lol)...I'd like to see Sideshow offer some "original" figures too...

We may know soon with with SDCC around the corner...
