I'm convinced We're getting A Thrawn Eventualy. Sideshow's said they're big fans of the Zhan novels, Thrawn was in the EU poll, and now the comments about ( a character not in ANY of the movies or TV shows" from the Ask sideshow two months back, PLUS the conformation of a character from the noves from the chat session?
Yes, I'm completely convinced we're getting thrawn. the question is Is he the Next figure, or is the Other EU character first?

Also, will he have the shoulder tassels, or not?

Man, I love the Zahn novels. A Thrawn would be a tough decision. I guess it would come down to how well he turned out and the price.

Cody would pull me right back in despite the backlash that it would cause. And I would get one for my son as well even if he just trashed it right away (I WOULD swap out the weapons and such for some Hasbro ones).

That's what I was thinking as well. I couldn't see them just doing a single EU offbeat release from an EU source like the Stormy Commander without hitting the main character from said source. Then again, I really wouldn't be surprised if that turned out to be the case.

if it is going to be EU, i hope it is not another figure from the Force Unleashed... there is plenty EU to go around and would be a shame to double dip so soon into the party...

Grand Admiral Thrawn would make a great EU figure. I'd like Baron Fel, too.

I think Thrawn would be a hard sell at $100 on the Pro. His 3 3/4" 2-pack release is pretty much a pegwarmer ATM despite being clearanced.

The sad thing is Force Unleashed really, really sucked. I finished the game and enjoyed the storyline but the gameplay itself was just aweful....

I dunno. I found it to be a fairly decent learning curve, but once I got the hang of it, it was a cakewalk and about 2/3 of the way through with the force powers starting to max, everything was like 2nd nature. I guess it all depends what system. My friends who played it on the 360 hated it too (I have it for the PS3).
