Even though i don't collect PT stuff anymore. Lord Tyranus will be really hard to pass on just because well its Christopher Lee.

Still want ESB X-wing Luke, SS make IT Happen 30TH ANV

I have a feeling it will be... Zuckass!

I know the chance of this happening is approximately 3,720 to 1.:(

Ok, just making sure I didn't miss something else, if I caught right there were previews of things during the fantacular chat and I didn't know if something was snuck in there.

Which really stinks because that means Dooku and Tarkin will likely pop up for SDCC with no ESB. Then the clone commanders for Celebration. I really am surprised at the overall downplay of Empire's 30th. Especially given that there was so much surrounding Star Wars'.

Crossing my fingers that from May 21st on, it will be non-stop ESB.

I'm not. I still contend that most of Sideshow's character choices are done like this:

Right, and that just goes to show how arbitrary their product-planning has been. Understandably flood the line with ANH figures in 2007, but then all but ignore TESB in 2010. :huh

Well, that would be more true if it were just Sideshow, but it seems like everybody with the license is ignoring ESB's 30th Anny. :dunno

Downright shame too as it's still the best film in the sextet.

I'm think we'll at least see at least one announcement before SDCC.

I'm geussing we'll see at least one ESB figure by years end and a few next year .

I do think that Tarkin and/or Dooku are possibilities for 4th quarter.

:lecture :lecture

It also has some of the more appealing visual elements and characters as well. I don't get it either. :huh

I'm kind of disappointed that the Snowtrooper hasn't been done yet and I was hoping for it this year because of the anniversary.

Kind of bums me out that it wasn't going to be one of the SDCC exclusives and instead they are doing that clone trooper. I know they are popular but I thought it would have been a nice salute to ESB and the anniversary.

Snowtrooper is much too popular to make an exclusive. I think it will be revealed along with Boba and Yoda at CV and SDCC.

How would it be a nice to make one of the most popular figures difficult to get? That would be a salute to eBay scalpers and nothing more.

There better be. Focusing on SDCC just builds disappointment more often than not, especially when SS makes such a wide range of collectibles for a given licence. It is particularly bad when they 'reveal' something we already knew was on its way, like Hammerhead.

Well I wasn't thinking of it that way. I was thinking more along the lines that with it being SDCC and the 30th Anniversary of ESB it would have been cool to have it be one of the figures they were making as a tribute or something.

How the hell would it be difficult to get? You'd order it from Sideshow just the same way you do any other figure. :lol

If it were a SDCC exclusive the numbers would be limited for non-attendees. :duh Since the regular ST was what a 6,000+ release I imagine the Snowtrooper would sell 4,000+ at least since it seems to make everyone's want list. Maybe I am wrong but SDCC exclusives never approach more than half that number.
