It looks ok, the face if anything looks a bit "chubby" - but it is too early to tell.

I might just stick with the 1:1 bust. :maul

Yeah, the pose isn't something everyone does of him. I think it will grow on me but this isn't one of my top choices for the pose but I am more than excited that he is finally coming.

That's what I'm saying.. I guess will see some better (real) pics from the Con which is coming up soon.

Just wait until we see better pictures and screen caps from Toy Fair, and I think the pose will look much better. It is hard to really get the true feel of it from those pictures with the waves in the pages, etc.

My first impression after seeing the pose is that all he's missing is a tophat.

That was exactly what came to my mind!

That is a classic dance pose. Looks like he's doing a tango, or maybe a salsa. And he's not pleased with the way his partner is moving!

I'm hugely happy with both the pose and the sculpt. Basically, this is THE Maul that I wanted to get.

I think the complaints come with the teritory, but I see no reason to complain. His moves were dance-like, and his grin is just the way it was in the movie. Awesome.

(And keep in mind, this is a scan of a magazine page that isn't flat on the scanner.)

While it is nice there will be a Maul PF I think it is WAY too early. Now he is done.

1:1 Bust - check
1:6 figure - check
1:4 figure - check

What more can they do? Very dumb move. We don't even have 1 Palpatine and they've used up Maul in every scale. Probably hurt them in the long run.

So what is going on with the chess set?

Meh...was expecting more.

The side pic looks ok but I need more pics.

As of now, I dislike the pose. Too Koto/toyish.

When Toy Fair arrives I am sure there will be a LOT more/better pics.

Of course I have to get it too and check it out in person.

I don't know how much more dynamic you could make Maul...he's been done so many times it's hard to come up with a new pose.

I think the Sideshow pose is different which is why I like it so much. I love the facial expression. Do any of the previous Maul's have that look?
