I love it! :love More!

Check out the T2 BD T-800 custom in the Terminator franchise customs thread here in this section. Its all Hot Toys parts, possibly a recast of the headsculpt but it looks excellent.

 come on HT!!!

I really hope we do get a Battle Damaged T-800 from T-2 and T1!

It has to happen, it would be insane for Hot toys not to make them.

They will make it. T2 is a cash cow to them right now and it already made load of money, so you guys will get the BD Arhnuld. The question is only...when?

..and how many. I already know at least 3 T2 BD for me. Possibly more depending on what he comes with.

edit - don't you just hate when you post a response to someone elses post without quoting it and your message ends up as the first of a new page - then you feel like yu have to go back and edit the quote in so people know what you're responding to?

I am very curious about how the BD Terminator will turn out. I am more into statues right now and I sold all of my 1/6 HT figures, but there is a possibility that I will buy this, not big, but there is. Knowing HT the figure probably will turn out great.

The Neca one (12 inch BD) is very nice in person for the price, and I never really liked HT's The Terminator BD T-800, but yeah...They shouldn't have a problem. I just hope they will change Arnold's head sculpt to a little less squashed appearance.

Its a pity Yulli must have used her own Dutch headsculpt as a guideline on the T-800. And for consistency sake they're not going to change things now even if they have noticed whats wrong. Seemingly not everyone does which puzzles me as it stands out to me every time theres side-by-side photos of HT T-800 and real Arnie. So close to perfection but just not quite because of this. I also would have preferred longer hair on their T2 Arnie more like the poster but thats most definitely a subjective personal choice as Maulfan proved that his hair was different lengths throughout the film.

That's just pure speculation about Yulli, where do you get this stuff from... Maybe they got it right and your perceptions are all wrong, ever consider that? I don't see a squashed head. 90% of what you write about is how you perceived faults in products... I collect for the enjoyment of it, not so I can pick out what's wrong with everything. Maybe you should consider taking up another hobby that doesn't annoy you so much. :monkey1

Imo the best T2 Arnold sculpt goes for the SS Premium format T-800 from T2. It is just perfect to me. His facial expression and his eyes are spot on. This is something what I miss from the HT T-800. Still it is a very nice figure of course.

Head is squashed, that's a fact, not matter of ones perception. There were photoshoped pictures with "corrections" in dedicated T-800 thread, and pictures of head sculpt, next to actual Arnolds face, look for those, and you'll find em.
Funny thing is that you took NECAs sculpt, as an example of "bad" figure, while sculpt-wise, it's superior to HotToys. Proportions and overall look is better! Of course, paint and finish is nowhere near Hot Toys, but that's not what I'm comparing. Hot Toys is completely different class of figure.
