I would actually love a diorama of the scene at the end of T1 when Sarah crushes the T-800.

I've ordered it yeah. I haven't liked every single pic of it but I think thats been down to bad poses, lack of futzing and unflattering lighting. In-hand it'll probably be stunning.

Here's hoping! I'll just cry in the corner if it's not perfect. :panic:

Wait a minute... People have actually voted for T3?... FAIL.

I kind of want them to make a Kristanna Loken figure from T3. It should have alternate endo hand, battle damage head and all that jazz.

Hmmm... I really don't care for T3. It's more like a child's film than a terminator. Who else noticed that T1 was an 18, T2 was a 15 and T3 was a 12?.... (Well, in Britain anyways)

I like the grit of T1, the style of T2... T3? It's just the childrens remake of T2, however TS was an alright movie!

But anyway, I have my EB T-101 so no need for any T2 figures for me (plus theres already a tonne) but Kyle Reese? I'd order him straight away!

I suppose it would look cool, I just love to diss T3 :p

You've gotta admit though, the final battle-damage look of the T-850 done by HT would be quite something to behold. Though considering they haven't even tackled the simpler BD looks of T1 and T2 it seems really unlikely....plus they said very early on that they weren't interested in doing T3 stuff.

Whats going on is their attention is elsewhere on other licenses. Hopefully Enterbay's T-800 will jog their memory on certain things they left unfinished.

I just hope it doesn't prompt Hot Toys to decided they need to make a couple of undamaged model 101s in 1/4 scale instead of making a couple of battle damaged figures and Kyle Reese in 1/6.

Where did you read that HT weren't interested in doing anything from T3?

Way back when the MMS117 was first shown as far as I recall. I think it was translated from Milk Magazine or something. Now I grant you you can't always trust these things but on this it seems more believable considering T3 is a less loved installment in the franchise, its not a brand new 'lets jump on the hype' film nor is it a classic.

It would be strange for them to make figures from every other Terminator movie and leave T3 out of the mix. I would be in for a T-850 and TX.

Rumors are swirling around that BD Terminators aren't going to be made anytime soon by Hot Toys.:panic: I'll wait for news on the Hot Toys Facebook page before I consider it official, though. :lol

:lol most of this forum runs on rumors and speculation.

Haven't you learned anything yet?:lol

Read my sig, Hex. :lol Hot Toys created their Facebook page to keep us up-to-date about new releases and other tidbits of information they want to share with fans. I LOVE all things Terminator, but I'm not that OCD that I have to have the ability to recreate every scene from the movie, the movie will always better than any collectible. But i can't deny that BD T1 and T2 figs would be very, very sweet!

I don't think HT have given up on the Terminator 1 and 2 lines...sometimes it takes years for them to carry out their plans for one reason or another.

Planning and carrying out projects can be tricky for a variety of reasons that we as collectors aren't privy to.

One reason could be licensing issues that can sometime take a long time to work through.

HT are taking their time with Elias and Lerner from Platoon...but I'm sure we'll hear something about them by next year.
