I don't think HT have given up on the Terminator 1 and 2 lines...sometimes it takes years for them to carry out their plans for one reason or another.

Planning and carrying out projects can be tricky for a variety of reasons that we as collectors aren't privy to.

One reason could be licensing issues that can sometime take a long time to work through.

HT are taking their time with Elias and Lerner from Platoon...but I'm sure we'll hear something about them by next year.

I'm going to hold you to that! :monkey3:monkey1

I think the desperate need to not be naked on the streets was the reason for taking tramps clothes.

The photo-booth nike scene was advertising the shoes and a joke. It made him look as if he was really a person living in the 1980's but the audience knew he wasn't and just desperately needed some shoes.

So, I don't know if this means anything or not, and it probably doesn't, but six months ago I wrote to Hot Toys (and asked my wife to write to them, too) about the possibility of a battle damaged T-800 from T-2 and got no reply. A week ago, we wrote to them again saying something like "I hear Enterbay is making a battle-damaged T-800 from T-2 for next year. Are you guys? Yadda yadda," and they now replied with
"Hello ____,
Thanks for your support to Hot Toys. Your suggestion & comment will be forwarded to our production team as a reference. Please keep visiting our Facebook page to get our most updated news!
Best regards,
KC/ Hot Toys Ltd"
Again, I'm not going to read too much into this, but I do find it a little suspicious that months ago they wouldn't respond at all, and now we're getting the stock "forward to our production team as a reference." e-mail.

well, like I said, before they were saying nothing. It probably doesn't mean anything, but I'd love it if it did.

Yep, that's the standard company boilerplate reponse... What else did you expect!?!? :lol

Okay, screw it. I will re-explain for poor Butters' sake.
Months ago, when my wife and I wrote to them in a little extra push to let them know that people want a battle damaged T-800 figure, I expected the stock response. Instead there was no response at all. It seemed odd.
Now that Enterbay has come out with their own T-800 and there are rumors of a battle-damaged T-800 coming from them as well, they respond to a new set of e-mails mentioning interest in a battle damaged Terminator 2 T-800 figure from Hot Toys and also mentioning Enterbay's figure(s). It seemed odd to be getting the response now when there was none months earlier.
The e-mail itself means nothing. The timing of the well known stock response seems a bit weird to me is all, but I don't really think it means much of anything.
As much as you want to think I am, Kid, I am not reading much into this, but would love it if it were an indicator that Enterbay has indeed spurred them to get to work on the Battle Damaged figure. It's really just a hope.
Is that clearer? I refuse to type the same ____ing thing a third time.

Here is a laughing smiley for no particular reason (this one is rolling. Ooooh):
:rotfl

You don't have a point. You just think you're entitled to answers from Hot Toys about their business plans.

How strange... :lol

Again, very very poor reading comprehension. It's like you're ten. ____, you probably are. Welcome back to my ignore list. I have a feeling a lot of people have you on theirs. LOLFACE DERP!

More stupid rumors based on the fantasy feud between Hot Toys and Enterbay. >_>

from Hot Toys Either a Battle Damaged T-800 or Battle damaged T2 and Kyle Reese from TERMINATOR 1 !
