Alright prediction time:

San Diego at New England

My Pick: New England 35- San Diego 24

NY Giants at Green Bay

My Pick: New York 28- Green Bay 21

Who you got?

See that prediction? Off on the scores, perfect line up on the winners! :rock

WHAAAA, no way NY wins.

Green way 42 - Giants 14

Onto the AFC, I think it will be

New England 28 - Chargers 24....but I want the chargers to win

Hahahahah! Love comments like this!

as tough as Favre is, he's inconsistent. He cost them the game with those INT's. Not even close....

They blew it.

Favre may have had some bad passes, but the team needs to make up for it.

Brady had 3 picks, but the team came through.

Whatever. The Giants are a much different team than the last time they played. Their defense is gonna play the Pats tough! :rock

Congrats, Ill. Enjoy it.

But...

Manning hasn't thrown an INT in three games? Doesn't that just mean he's way overdue? Paging Mr. Hobbs and Mr. Samuel. Your picks are ready.

Tampa sucked. The Cowboys hadn't played a good game in a month. And the Packers fell apart because Brett turned into the stupid '06 Favre. Don't count on the Pats being so accomodating.

Well now that the pack lost i don't give a **** who wins the bowl, not a fan at all of either teams.

Good game though!!!

Fox Super Bowl Promo:

"New York is first team to beat three super bowl-winning teams en route to the Super Bowl."

What? Tony Romo's Cowboys haven't even won a playoff game.

I guess they beat three Super Bowl-winning FRANCHISES, but that's a big difference. The Niners and Raiders are Super Bowl-winning franchises, too, but the TEAMS suck now.

Then they said:
"The Giants gave New England their toughest game of the regular season."

Really? That's news to anyone who watched the Ravens game.

Is this game going to be so uncompetitive that the network televising the game is already lying to get us to watch mere minutes after the matchup is set?

I think the Giants know what they need to do. Call Jessica Simpson, get her a Brady jersey and comp her tickets to the game. :lol

Pats are falling into a pattern in the playoffs

First half, offense starts off slow then finds a rhythm, defense struggles to stop the passing game and forward advance of the opponent.

Second half, offense bursts open and defense stops the opponents in all areas of the game.

Granted, today the Pats were dominant on defense in the red zone, but they continued to allow a lot of passes that should have been broken up at the least, to let the Chargers into the red zone. I'm glad we're able to reduce teams to field goals within 10 yards of the end zone, but I'd feel safe if we held them out to the 30 yard line kicking field goals, and we're more than capable of it, they need to pick up the pass coverage a bit better.

It's gonna be hyped up the next couple of weeks that the Giants gave the Pats all they could handle last time around...But, New England and Belichik are the most adjusting team I have seen. I really can't see the Pats blowing a chance at history here. 1 game away from 19 - 0, unreal.

I would like to see one of those games where the Pats score 50+ points and light the Giants up.

And blow little Eli and that jerk Coughlin right out of the stadium...

I think the issue is that marketing is feeling like Pats-Giants Super Bowl doesn't have a lot of marquee value. There's no big rivalry persay. Manning is just starting to come into his own a bit the last 3 games or so they've played. Whether it's justified or not, they're going to promote it like the Giants' chances are much higher than reality to get viewers because it's all about the dollar. I've heard rumor that SB tickets are going for cheaper because of lesser interest now.

I think what will be played up is the underdog capability of the Giants and how the Patriots are one game away from an Undefeated Legacy.....look for those two points to be brought up in commercials, etc. While a Green Bay/New England game would be have more interesting from a Quarterback standpoint.....the comebacks and luck the Giants have had makes me seriously interested.
