From Yahoo:

In the hours after the Patriots lost the AFC championship, Wes Welker's wife, Anna, had the following to say on Facebook: "Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!"

Later, Anna Welker apologized, saying in a statement, "I’m deeply sorry for my recent post on Facebook. I let the competitiveness of the game and the comments people were making about a team I dearly love get the best of me. My actions were emotional and irrational and I sincerely apologize to Ray Lewis and anyone affected by my comment after yesterday’s game.

And apparently Tim Brown thinks Bill Callahan sabotaged the Super Bowl for the Raiders:

This is why you don't let wives get near the game

There's definitely a funny juxtaposition between Ray Lewis's past behavior and his current image as an almost Disney movie character (similar to Ice Cube starring in those kinds of movies, which is bizarre). My wife really likes him now for his affable personality, etc., but I've never felt comfortable with the guy ever since that murder trial.

SNL had it covered 12 years ago.

My head hurts just thinking of what can go wrong between now and then with the Raiders. I'm not getting excited yet.

I have a little more confidence with this new regime. Their hands were tied in their first year last year...but they'll soon be cleaning house of some of the bad contracts and bad attitudes.

I wonder why she didn't mention Golden Boys little "slide" into Reed? :dunno

:lecture :lol

LOl at 49 second mark. :lol

As someone who follows the Raiders from afar, I don't have your same confidence..lol
