Is Beyond good?

By the time Beyond was on, I sort of outgrew the Batman animated shows in general.

I loved the original BTAS but could not get into New Batman Adventures due to the art style and never saw Beyond.

Might of missed the boat - even if I watch Beyond now, there’s no nostalgia attached . On the bright, it’ll prevent me from spending $200+ on yet another Mondo line. :lol
Beyond is a great continuation of BTAS

Me too.

I still love a few art styles from "The New Batman Adventures," particularly the designs of Batman, Freeze, and Catwoman.. I think the Catwoman looks like Burton's version.
I really hate the lipstickless Joker.

And yep, gonna save my wallet this time, skipping Batman Beyond.
Will save it for Clayface!

I shall also be skipping Mondo's Batman Beyond figure.

Hopefully they will save Clayface until the new year, to give everyone's wallets a break after all these back-to-back releases.
And I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Two-Face being revealed at some point next year too!

My wishlist is:
Two-Face, Riddler, Penguin, Croc, Ventriloquist, Mad Hatter, Robin, Batgirl.
Then I'm happy and done 🙂

Grey Ghost would be a nice addition.

Also Talia and Ra's al Ghul… Or characters in civilian clothes like Bruce Wayne, Selina Kyle.

I want a lot of the tertiary characters still like:
  • Alfred
  • Commissioner Gordon
  • Bullock

I think Gordon Bullock and Alfred is a no brainier.

I suspect Grey Ghost is also definite, just too popular as is Killer Croc..along with Penguin, Christmas Joker, Mad Hatter Robin and 2-Face.

I also suspect a Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson civilians are already planned.

Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, Bullock, Bruce Wayne, and Dick Grayson are all great characters indeed, but not ones I would buy in 1/6 scale, and especially at Mondo prices.

I'm more than content having Alfred, Gordon, Bullock, and (the upcoming) Bruce Wayne in 1/12 scale from DC Collectibles/McFarlane.

Costumed villains and heroes are the only characters I want to get again in this scale.

One of the reasons I left 1/12 scale was Mondos figures stood out on a shelf.

I always felt cheated buying a BTAS 7" figure as everything felt lacking. Where were the extra heads and accessories and so on.

But here is mondo, with 5 heads, tons of accessories, and on a shelf as a display nothing is lost...it all stands out.

The Mondo figures definitely have more shelf presence and infinitely better accessories and options. I agree!

But I still don’t think I’d be tempted by Gordon and the like at that price point.

Having said that, I couldn’t be sure until it happened 😂
