I don't blame you. I love the Steelers...but I wouldn't pay that much either (except maybe for the Superbowl). Congratulations on scoring the tickets.

Thanks! Yeah, it's insane the amount some will pay. I just can't bring myself to do that.

I will be taking my wife. She is from Pitt as is her whole family. I will take great pride in dressing her up for the game and taking a pic of her in front of the Linc all Eagle'd out. :rotfl

1 live NFL game a year is enough for me. Along with the cost of the ticket is the hassle of driving there and parking. Add in tailgating or eating around the stadium and it ends up being a $300 day if not more.

Going to the games is fun...if you are not really there to actually WATCH the game. The atmosphere is what is fun when you go to a live game. Sitting in front of the TV is always the best seat in the stadium for watching a game. Cameras are always right on top of the action.

The last time I went to a game was Steelers at the Chargers. Ryan Leaf's last game with the Chargers. The Chargers went 1-15 that year. And there was some guy running around the stadium with a sign that read 1+15=16...Ryan Leaf's number was 16. That was on Christmas Eve of '00.

I have been waiting for the Steelers to play in San Diego again ever since. But even though they have met like 6 times since then...it has always been in Pittsburgh.

By the way...I paid a scalper 40.00 for the tickets to that game...and I was pissed.:lol

Jets OTAs, apparently Sanchez is in mid-season form going 6-for-11, 3 INTs, 1 sack.:clap

Michael Crabtree apparently done for the year with a torn Achilles. He should look into what Suggs used to get back so quick last year.:monkey3

And Brian Urlacher smartly retires. Great in his day, but the injuries have really piled up over the last few years. I'll always remember Brady of all people faking him out on a scramble.:lol

I'm at my desk crying. Now we're out of receivers.

First New Mexico Lobo in the HOF.... I don't like the Bears but I have always liked Brian. Go Lobos.

Not at Fed EX Field. Bunch off boorish drunks. Posted on the Washington Posts' comments page earlier this year:

"I'm usually as obnoxious as they come at Fedex, but I saw a lot of vitriol there yesterday towards the few Ravens fans in my section that really wasn't necessary. Throwing a beer on a man who came with his son is bush league. Trying to fight a 50 year old man and emasculating him in front of his wife is bush league. Yelling horrible obscenities to (barely) teenagers leaving the game is bush league. We live with these people, folks. I'm all for a good ribbing after the loss, but let's try and keep it civil."

One of my co-workers told me he attended a game a few years back against the Eagles. A Eagles fan in a jersey went into a Porta Potty. BUnch of drunk 'Skins fans tipped it over...

On the opposite side of the spectrum, my best buddy has lived in Pittsburgh for the last year. He managed to score some tickets to the 'Skins / Steelers game, and wore his throwback Riggins jury. Got some good natured ribbing, but that was all.

Does Randy get a call back? :lol

Like I wrote in the NHL thread, I hate jerky boys who pull that **** off to opposing fans.

For some reason, sporting events are a license for a few idiots to become petulant drunks. Everyday civilized folks become nothing more than animals on game day.

It sucks to lose crabs but on the bright side our other receivers Patten, Jenkins, lockette, Vance McDonald will get a lot of work. Plus CK was targeting crabs a bit too much at the expense in production of Vernan Davis and other receivers; he will build a relationship with these other guys.. Don't forget we also have manningham and Kyle Williams comming back . VD and A.Bolden (who takes crabs spot) should be able to cover the 1k yards and 9tds between the two of them. VD was under utilized big time once CK took over

49ers are loaded with talent, if anyone can take this loss and not miss a beat it will be them.

Also this was crabtree's contract year, this injury may now allow the 49ers to actually resign him and not lose him to the Cowboys (his true love). Hopefully he comes back and doesn't lose a step but one things for sure teams won't over pay for a guy coming off an acl especially when he has only 1 really good year in 5 NFL seasons on his resume.

Lockett has been training with Kap. Apparently he's the fastest on the team. Slow in his routes though.

The wrap on him is that he has stone hands, which is why the seachickens released him. If he and the coaching staff have been working hard developing his hands and catching ability then ya he has the speed and skill set to be a victor Cruz type player. He just has to bring it all together and work hard on his weaknesses like Cruz did. Pete Carroll would **** his pants if he ends up bawlin which gives coach some extra incentive to invest more time with him just to **** with Pete. I don't think any two coaches hate each other more then those two or go out their way to try and **** the other one over whether it be drafting position players the other team needs, signing former players, or trying to embarrass the teams on the field by running up the score or breaking their will with brute force
