Dolphins 2-0 :yess:

My fantasy team 0-2 :monkey2

Same here except

Broncos 2-0

My fantasy team 0-2

I can't catch a break. Faced the first place team and the second place team back to back. I put up a great day and still get slammed.

It's one game in a 16 game season. Crap happens and have to see where things shake out in the end.

1 Game in Which in a Division which was decided by Half a Game just last yr .... and the Winner went to the Super Bowl ...Just Say'in .

I think this Game was Huge. With All things considered.
I think Frisco Fans wanted this Single Win ..., more than anything Else looking at thier Schedule When it was handed out. They Were Embarassed Last Yr ... , and Obviously Followed Suit again this yr .

For all the Haters and Trash Talkers this Past Week ..., It was Fantastic. And Super Bowl Runs are Made and Broken with Games like this, reguardless of how Eairly it is or was in the Season .

Wild Card Teams win the SB all the time anymore. So I'm not really all that worried about this one game for that reason.

I can assure you most Niners fans are worried about getting back to the SB and winning that. That is how we define success not beating the Seattle Seahawks.

At the second week of the season, I don't think that game is at this moment overly important. Would have been great to have. But I also think many SF fans would understand a loss in Seattle was likely before the season began. Had you told me at the start of the season the 49ers would lose in Seattle I wouldn't have been surprised at all. Maybe that they got blown out again, sure, but not that they lost.

Seattle has to play better on the road. It's that simple. If the 49ers can beat the teams they are supposed to beat this season (unlike the Vikings and Rams last season) they should very well still have the advantage. San Francisco shows up in every city not named Seattle. The same cannot yet be said for their rival.

So the 49ers have been a failure for almost 20 years straight now? Bummer.

To be honest yeah the last several years have been bummers. I mean its nice to make the playoffs and there have been some exciting games but outside of a few moments things have not been good.

I've already written that Everywhere ..., as well as thier piss poor performances at start times of 10 am West coast time ..., which they actually touched on last night during the Game.

as a Humorous thought ..., I just think it's Fantastic How all week long Nothing but Trash was talked , .... and now it's just down played as just 1 Game, that means nothing. lol.

Naw ... it does, and it hurts, I know it does. Go listen to Harbaugh's enterviews afterwords.

But I'm sure Friso will bounce back..., and I expect them to beat the Colts next week.

Which is the exact same way I feel about the rematch. I expect SF to win and I believe it will be a close decent game but if the Hawks get blown out I will be very disappointed. When I saw the schedule I was kind of hoping the 2nd game would be in Seattle not the first because I think a big win at the end of the season carries more weight than in week 2 so SF might be better off anyway.

This is a win we really wanted. Plain and simple. We don't need it. We haven't needed it but we definitely wanted it. I'm sure we'll win at home, but that doesn't mean much but a division win. On a neutral field we may be the better team. With Manningham and Crabtree maybe it would have been different. But it doesn't matter now. In the books. Just wish we wouldn't have lost Ian like that. This game showed that defensively we need to change our approach and take away teams strengths and we need to be more physical again in the secondary (NNAMDI!) But this game came down to Kaepernick making bad decisions and not letting the game come to him. Roman also deserves a bit of blame for abandoning the run packages that made us dominant. That will work on simple defenses like Green Bay but not against talented defenses like Seattle and Carolina. Oh well, back to the stick for Luck.

Yet Seattle is the bus blocking your road back to the SB. When was the last time a SB loser made it back the next year? 1994.

They are a team that could be in the way come playoff time. The last time I can remember is the Bills.

You're reminding me of the poor, cursed Bills :(

Not yet. :lol We still have to lose 3 more in a row.

If people want to keep bringing out trends, we can close the the thread down. It's over the Chargers will win.

If you want to crown them then crown they ***. They are who we thought they were.

I am really enjoying this game tonight. I really like defensive games. It is far from pretty...but it is on the good side of the scale as far as games go. And considering what my expectations were...things are looking pretty good.

Still enjoying it?
