The only people I feel worse for than Chargers fans today are the Chargers themselves. Getting beat by the Raiders is like...well...it's like getting beat by the Raiders.

Well it could be worse, you could be a Giant, Jag , Buc or Steeler.:wink1:

Romo is a god.

The man does more with less support than any qb in the league.

If he ever landed on a team with a running game, OL and defense the NFL would have to ban him for competitive balance's sake.

Hold the hell on. Less support. You kidding me. There is a reason they are in salary cap hell.

Most teams in salary cap hell are there because they made bad decisions to get there.

Manning behind Dallas' OL = LOL

He tripped over his offensive lineman. He had a man open underneath. He said F the open man and passed it to a Bronco. He had more than enough time. It was just Romo being Romo. Point blank. That loss was on him.

Smith was bullrushed into him preventing him from getting the required zip on the ball, but don't let that change your mind.

We all can't go 6-15 for a little over 100 yards and win 34-3.

Romo's 96.6 lifetime rating says it all. He can't block, rush and play defense too.

Manning is an all time great and after this season may be called the greatest ever, as is Brady, Brees. Rodgers is certainly well on his way.

As a fan I enjoy watching Romo because he makes the games fun and for the most part they are always close despite his lack of running game, OL and defense.

The blame on Romo for team success is silly. Simply look at Eli, Flacco and Big Ben struggles this year when they find themselves without a defense, run game and shoddy OL play.

Even Brady is looking like a mere mortal playing in the weakest division in football.

The fact is without Romo Dallas would be a 4-12 team with multiple blowout losses. With Romo they are probably a 7-8 win team, but in every game to the end.

That's the easy answer.

You need to rewatch that play and the entire game. :duh

The Dallas defense didn't make Denver punt once.

No No No. You miss what I'm saying. The same way that loss was on him was the same way the Broncos loss to the Ravens was on Payton. When it comes down to it the game was 48-48. It might as well been 0-0. There is a man open underneath but you pass to the man behind him who is not open. That is all Romo.

He was never opened. Never opened. That was an ill advised throw. The man underneath however was WIDE OPEN. As in nobody was in 6 yards of him. Is that a lie?

Do you need more proof? I mean it is what it is.

The score is 48-48. Tied. The same as it is at the beginning of the game. Tied. Don't turn the ball over, as simple as that. He turned the ball over. They are pretty much set up right now in a Tampa 2 to prevent you from making the throw he made.

You're going for the easy sound bite which sounds good but it's just too lazy. Some things to know....

1. The offensive lineman was bull rushed back into Romo and he tried to sidestep him but tripped on his leg/foot which caused an errant pass.

2. Not impressed by the screen grab. It's meaningless, just a snapshot in time. Show me the play instead.

3. The Bronco defender made a hell of a diving catch. It's not like Romo just threw it to the guy.

Yup, he stepped on the lineman's foot. Sure, it was an ill-advised decision but I'm debating you on the entire picture....the whole game.

To simply pin the entire loss on Romo is short-sighted.

It was 2nd and 16. A dumpoff to Murray might net 3 yards. 3rd and 13 pretty much ensures a punt. Who believes the Dallas defense stops Peyton from a FG?

The fact is Romo plays that situation every game. He knows his defense is poor. It requires him to assume more risk than others (see the 6 for 15 guy). More risk, more opportunity for failure.

The fact is Romo's career has been that way from the beginning with a below average defense. Still he has thrown 190 TD's against a mere 93 INT's.

As I mentioned before all qb's numbers go down when faced with those odds. Romo's numbers shame pretty much any other qb faced with the sort of pressure he is under week in and week out.

It makes for exciting games win or lose, the haters are just that, haters.

BTW a fun fact is no team in the 16 game era (dating to 1978) which has trailed at some point in all 16 games has ever recorded a better record than Dallas' 8-8 record last season.
