Yup, he stepped on the lineman's foot. Sure, it was an ill-advised decision but I'm debating you on the entire picture....the whole game.

To simply pin the entire loss on Romo is short-sighted.

Come on. I'm not saying the loss was all Romo 's doing but I am saying that interception cost them the game. It did lead to a Bronco game winning field goal. He played great until that point. That interception was ALL Romo.

It was 2nd and 16. A dumpoff to Murray might net 3 yards. 3rd and 13 pretty much ensures a punt. Who believes the Dallas defense stops Peyton from a FG?

The fact is Romo plays that situation every game. He knows his defense is poor. It requires him to assume more risk than others (see the 6 for 15 guy). More risk, more opportunity for failure.

The fact is Romo's career has been that way from the beginning with a below average defense. Still he has thrown 190 TD's against a mere 93 INT's.

As I mentioned before all qb's numbers go down when faced with those odds. Romo's numbers shame pretty much any other qb faced with the sort of pressure he is under week in and week out.

It makes for exciting games win or lose, the haters are just that, haters.

BTW a fun fact is no team in the 16 game era (dating to 1978) which has trailed at some point in all 16 games has ever recorded a better record than Dallas' 8-8 record last season.

He was already 7 yards down the field.

Are you a Cowboy fan.

He had more than enough time. It was just Romo being Romo. Point blank. That loss was on him.

Sounds like a contradiction to me. :dunno

I'm trying to be extremely nice about it. I'm trying not to take away from the great game he had because it was great and entertaining. But he just had to go and throw that interception.

Well, we will just have to disagree on this. I'm sure it will happen many times in the various sports threads between us.

It's all good fun.

The fact is even the best QB's have mediocre records when their team allows more than 17 points.

Aaron Rodgers had 17 wins, 24 losses when the Pack allow more than 17 (excluding this years games).

In an offensive era solid defense is the difference between evenly skilled qb's (Top 15-18 NFL qb's ).

Everybody has always called for Romo's head and that's absolutely ridiculous. All the Cowboy fans were yelling today that they want Kyle Orton, but the truth is if there were any other QB in the NFL in that game not named Brady or Rodgers then they would have gotten blown out.

All the blame for the Cowboys should lie on Monte Kiffin and Jerry Jones for firing Rob Ryan.

So of they went three and out punted your saying Manning wouldn't have got them in field goal range?

I'm saying that If Romo completes the pass to Murray, then he would have possibly picked up the first down on 3rd and 9.
