Mike Smith isn't on any hot seat. Arthur Blank is hound dog loyal. I wouldn't be surprised to see some assistant shake ups.

Arthur Blank is happy just to have a relevant team. And the Falcons love their team no matter what. They are the reverse Cowboys.

I would be shocked to find out that Tomlin was in any way on a hot seat. The head coach position with the Steelers is the most sought-after head-coaching position in the NFL precisely because the Rooneys are known for not dumping head coaches too quickly.

Personally, I am very curious about the direction the Steelers will go from here. I like Tomlin, but I can't help but wonder if we are seeing a chink in his armor. He inherited an awesome team. It has slowly slipped.

I am hoping that he rebounds in a huge way. Next year is OK...but if he brings the team back up this year...there will be no denying that he merits a seat at the "Best Steelers Coaches in History" table.

(Oh, and yes, I already think he does...I am just saying that nobody will be able to deny it)

Oh, and Ryan Clark seems to think the Steelers will make the playoffs...I agree.:)

Does anyone believe that the Broncos will cover the historical 28 pts. spread this weekend against Jacksonville?

I'm betting big this weekend that they'll cover plus some.

Peyton has never tried to embarass a team. If it gets close to that, the Broncos will pull back the reigns. Broncos are a classy organization so no. But they could probably beat them 42-0 if they wanted to.

Wrong again. Peyton and NFL players in general don't care about point spreads. If these teams can win big they will. The only reason a team "will pull back the reigns" is to get some starters out late in the game due to potential injuries.

That's not true. I hate to admit it but Seattle has held back twice in a row against us in Century Link.
