Well last year they went 3-5 and didn't beat a single playoff team in the regular season and only one of those wins had a winning record.

This year sure you have done better. Ok this year they have done better yet none are impressive wins. They barely beat a Carolina team that started 1-3 before the run they are on(and the the win was was over a winless Giants team). They beat a two win Texan team, a three win Falcon team, not saying much there. Last they beat the Cardinals, which really is the best road win.

What else you want to discuss about good the Seahawks are on the road?

11-1 with multiple injuries especially at left tackle and o-line keep hatin it makes me laugh by the way wats ur teams record

Not to mention russell was a rookie last year 8-0 at home and 3-5 on the road last year ill take that any day for a rookie qb plus his losses mainly came at the beginning of the season

The Seahawks are good until they go on the road

That seems like a moot point now. Unless there is a MAJOR screw up by the Hawks, all roads lead through Seattle. This is the team to beat in the NFC and in the NFL as far as I'm concerned. The Hawks are a very physical football team and are as good or even better than any team in the NFL. They are getting their injured players back and are peaking at the perfect time. They are going to very hard to beat.

I find it funny when someone uses injuries as a defense/excuse like their team is the only one dealing with em.

Who's making excuses people say we barely beat teams on the road but reality is even with injuries to key offensive positions we still find a way to win that's what good teams do

Seahawks are very good. The whole NFC West is great. But the Seahawks aren't the only team that's peaking right now. Sunday afternoon is gonna be fun.

Unless the injuries are excessive I agree. Nobody is perfectly healthy and you can lose guys in bunches. It's football you gotta deal with it.

Except in a NY winter? :lol

If they make it that far I see that being a factor. I don't want to hear about NW winters. I would venture to guess they're not nearly as bad as winters in the MW or NE.

The Niners are starting to get warm. We shall see where that leads as we go further into the season.

Eventually Staley, Iupati, Patton and Brown will be back. We just gotta stay healthy. We go into the playoffs with a complete team, we can beat any and everyone.

Apparently you haven't felt northwest weather just as cold plus seattle has played many cold weather rainy games

Also helps that Seattle is a run first team... thats helps in crappy weather. Have fun trying to tackle Lynch when your hands are frozen.

Are Patton and Brown expected back this season?

The Niners are playing better, but their offensive line has been inconsistent this year. Say what you will about Kaepernick looking unsure of himself or his receivers earlier this season, but it has seemed to me that anytime he's tried to tie or win a game at the end, the defense is always in his face almost instantly. He's been getting sacked a lot as well. With Staley and Iupati out I hope the O-line holds up and at least proves that we can hang with Seattle outside of their stadium.

But the Seahawks look flat out awesome at home. They are a rival, but I'm not ashamed to admit that they are fun to watch when they are so dominant. That defense. And I'm a Sherman fan.

But I do agree with PC as the head coach. He seems like a far bigger ****** of a person than what people say about Jim Harbaugh. Yeah, Harbs might whine about every penalty that goes against us but with Pete abandoning USC and then lying telling his former players that he'd draft when he wouldn't. Just seems like a jerk to me.

As far as the fans go, it just seems like a lot of little brother syndrome going around. There are some respectable Seahawks fans here, but many of them seem to have just popped out of the blue the past couple of years after hiding for so long and have to tell everyone how great the team is. And yes, many 49er fans are among the whiniest, most spoiled fans out there (I'm not one of them and I hate Niner fans who are). But these Seahawk fans and this sense of entitlement some of them seem to have..some of them act like they are suiting up and hitting offensive players themselves. I thought Raven fans were horrible with the hiding when the team sucks and then being obnoxious when the team is good thing, but at least they have won Super Bowls and they still aren't as bad as some Hawk fans. Yeah I'm a Niner fan but I have no problem respecting my rival. I ADMIRED how Seattle dominated us in Week 2. I want my team to be that punishing.

But as far as the Seahawks team goes, it's been a long time since a front runner or a top seeded team has won the super bowl, but with that defense and that home field I'd feel far better about this team doing it than any top seeded team in recent history. It's all about matchups though. When the 49ers beat the Saints at Candlestick two years ago, and then the Giants squeaked by the 49ers in the NFCC, the Giants fans all felt lucky because if they had to go to New Orleans they felt like their season would have been over. But, as it were, they won the Super Bowl.

Patton is already practicing and Brown should be back in the next couple of weeks. Iupati should be back in two weeks.

My team has LOTS of injuries so you can't really expect much from them. Plus we don't have the easiest SOS this year. Yeah I know how to make excuses too:wave
