I'm glad that Richard Sherman has come out and apologized for his post-game outburst. The focus should have been on the team win and not the individual. He's too good a player for that selfishness. I'm still looking forward though to Peyton picking them apart. As an Eagles fan I can pretty much never cheer for the NFC representative in the Superbowl-- and as an Eagles fan I seem to be always cheering for the AFC (grumble grumble grumble... c'mon Chip).

Probably not a name known outside New England, but long-time O-Line coach Dante Scarnecchia is retiring. He's been on the Pats staff since 1991. Pretty big loss.

I couldn't see the vid on your link s_paulik87, but I saw and heard it here:

Crabtree was definitely being a poor sport. But, like I said, there is some history there. Sherman's brother came out and said Crabtree tried to fight him at a charity event. But now, other witnesses are coming out and saying it was actually Sherman who was antagonizing and squaring up against Crabtree. There's bad blood between these two.

Sorry his reputation trumps reality here. He may have tried to be sincere this time but you don't run over like that in that moment. When you are known to be a trash talker (he won't deny it and is proud of it) NO ONE is going to think your running over to be sincere. Now to the video its funny how he says he said one thing yet he said something VERY different. I am not sure how "sincere" running over and yelling "hell of game" over and over is really is. He ran over to antagonize him in that moment. If you want to be sincere you walk over after the game face to face and say what you have to say, not run over slap someone on the *** and kind of get in his face regardless of having you hand out.

As I said before how would have Sherman reacted had the roles been reversed?

9ers are poor sports the majority of them just left the field without shaking hands they went straight to the locker room. Any one who watched the sound fx can hear there was hardly any trash being talked on the field if anything Crabtree was a Lil cocky on the sideline saying "all they got is run, run, then play action, all we gotta do is stay in front of them and we good" " we got this".
I respect Kap though after he told Wilson " congrats baby go get yourself a ring" A lot of niner fans seem to forget boldin last week head butting and getting in the face of the panthers also Kap mocking Can newtons superman celebration in the end zone when the game was pretty much out of reach

Good to hear Kap congratulate wilson and wish him luck. Makes me look at Kap in a whole new way actually.

They should shake hands. I would expect Seattle to act the same way to be honest. If nothing else just because of who their coach is and how some of the players act. Is he totally wrong though? I mean Wilson had that 51 yard bomb because of his scrambling ability but that was about it. Maybe Harvey helps that but seattle's wideouts don't scare anyone. Lynch is a beast for sure. What Boldin did is done by many players on all teams including Seattle. Is it right? No probably not but unless you're willing to call everyone out it might be time to get over it. He did. I wish he hadn't but read below for my further thoughts.

Newton totally deserves mocking for that stupid pose, though.

I didn't like that he did that but at the same time I didn't mind because I hate celebrations like that. I don't mind it when someone mocks Kap's stupid bicep kiss. If players want to spike it that's cool otherwise pull a Barry Sanders and hand it to the ref.

All I'm saying look at everything through the big picture.

Were some of the 49ers being poor sports? Yes.

Were some of the Seahawks being poor sports when they lost at Candlestick? Yes. And blamed the refs after losing their "glorified practice."

Were some of the 49ers mocking Cam Newton a couple weeks ago? Yes.

Were some of the Panthers mocking Kaepernick way back in week 10? Yes.

Some of that stuff I don’t mind one bit. If you are going to do the Superman reveal or the bicep kiss or whatever after every TD (or heck even sometimes after a lousy first down) then you deserve to get it shoved back into your face if you lose. If you can dish it you have to take it. If a Denver RB scores the winning TD next week and opens a bag of Skittles in the end zone to show up Lynch then Seattle fans will just have to deal with it. If you don’t want him to do that…. then stop him from scoring…. It’s as simple as that.

Josh Brent receives 180 days in jail and 10 years probation for killing a human being while drunk

Sickening
Did someone die while he was driving yes, did he kill him no. He didn't hit an innocent bystander, he hit a person who decided to get in the car with a person who had been drinking. That person also decided to not wear a seat belt. While the teammate paid the ultimate price he did make the choice that help lead to that price.

People get small sentences all the time for manslaughter while driving intoxicated.

Very rational way of thinking. I do like that there was once an underlying message behind the kissing of the tattoos. It was an appropriate response to unfair criticism he was receiving. Now its gimmicky. But whatever. Its new age NFL.

I actually get a kick of out Cams celebration. But I dont mind it if someone does it playing the panthers. Of course, my only complaint of Cam's celebration is that before this year when he'd do it one week and then have a horrible game the next and then sulk to himself on the bench, it felt like it was about him and not the team. This season he has showed maturity (winning cures all doesn't it).

Now call me a hypocrite but I dont like victor cruz's dance. I used to know him but I swear his head is so far up his own *** now.
