I will finally submit. The Saints are the team to beat IMO. They are a damn powerhouse! More power too them. They are playing like a team ready to win the big game.

With the Falcons secondary their only hope against the Saints is the fact that it's a rivalry and they'll be playing beyond themselves. How long they can last will be the key. Outside of that it would have to be the Saints that beat themselves.

The Falcons only hope is the rivalry? I guess that can help to "pump up" your team. They're going to need a lot more than that to beat the Saints! I'm a life-long Saints fan, and I am well aware of our rivalry with the Falcons. The Saints are playing great on both sides of the ball. They picked apart the New York Giants today in their big 48 - 27 win! :D
Drew Brees spread the ball around to many receivers, not just one. He threw TD passes to four different receivers today. He was 23 of 30 for 369 yards in passing. Seven Saints scored touchdowns today, on both offense and defense. Our team is showing that working together, and playing as a team helps to build a strong team family, and win games.

I'm not "jinxing" my team by saying they are 5-0! For the first time since 1993, the Saints are now 5-0! I'm VERY VERY PROUD of them! We have great players AND a great coaching staff, and it shows on the field. :banana Yeah...the Saints ARE for REAL! It's time they got the respect they deserve in this league.

Hey JediMike,

Didn't realize that lame Seth Green guy was in that commercial.

Oh yeah...I remember "Cha-Ching"! :D Seth Green...lame...?

I don't think so. He's a co-creator of Robot Chicken, and a big fan of Star Wars and Indiana Jones and toys. He was thrilled to have his figure made by Sideshow for his character Oz from Buffy. McFarlane also made his character, Scott Evil from Austin Powers too as a figure. Very cool.

But yeah, it's time for "Cha-Ching" to come back, don't you think? How about the "Who Dat" song?

Yeah, Bless You Boys was great too, but Who Dat is a classic Saints song without a doubt. :D

Oh yeah....I have the U2 and Green Day song..."The Saints Are Coming" as the ring tone on my phone! I love that song!

Thank you BadMoon! :D Yeah, the Saints are definitely hungry for the ball! They are ready to win...and they are winning. They must keep up the intensity and never back down from going after the ball on both defense and offense. I pray that they keep this up...all the way to the Super Bowl this year!

GEAUX (Cajun French for "GO") SAINTS! :joy

The Saints are 5-0 PERIOD. That's all they have accomplished so far. Hardly a call for league respect. Now if they can finish the same way they've started and are still playing deep in January, then they will have "earned" the respect of the league. Until then it's just an undefeated record and we all know how that turned out for the last team that went undefeated.

Also keep in mind the collective records of the 5 teams they beat: 14-15. Take away the 5-1 Giants and the other 4 teams are 9-14. Just trying to keep it all in perspective for you. Since I'm from Louisiana, I know very well how the Saints can break your heart.:lol

I have to admit that the Saints are the runner-up team that I wouldn't mind seeing win the Superbowl this year. I usually hope for a team who doesn't have a SB win yet in case my beloved Steelers end up not going. So if the Steelers don't go and the Saints win, I will consider that to at least be a consolation prize.

Of course, we all know how early in the season it still is.

I'm always psyched about a Saints win, but as I've said before, I've been a fan too long to get too optimistic about things. If the playoffs happened today, I honestly think the Saints would have as good a shot as any other team. But by the time December/January rolls around, who knows who is going to be trending upward and who will be going the other direction? Just look at the Cardinals last year.

If you listen carefully, you can hear all the Favre haters eating there words..
No the real Farve has not show up yet but its coming. He has man y chances to throw int's but has been lucky to not to have then picked off.

6-0

Well when you play 3 teams who have a total of 2 wins, get 2 lucky last min wins(one where they were a kicker chocked and a where I nice catch was paid off by a nice lucky landing in the field of play) it easy to think your better then you are. Win next week when they finally play a real team on the road.

What kills me is ESPN. Their damn article starts off "Favres late heroics end Ravens". Seriously? I thought it was a missed field goal. I guess Favre willed it to happen from the bench. :lol

Sounds like some grape flavored haterade.

I agree. As someone who lived in Louisiana for 15 years, the Saints are my team, but I always approach each new year with a bit of trepidation in terms of how well they play. Not even the phenomenal season Brees had last year was a enough to get them in the playoffs. Each season, though, I hope they just get a little bit closer to the SuperBowl.

They are playing extremely well so far, and all I have to say is just keep on winning.

The game the Steelers have next week is a big one to me. My own opinion is that they have been VERY unimpressive so far this year. Barely coming out with a 4-2 record against mostly teams from the bottom half of the league.

If they beat Minnesota, that will go a long way toward boosting my confidence (not ALL the way), but if they get their butts handed to them, it will go even farther toward me looking on this season as a recovery season from Superbowl hangover.

Also, Minnesota is my brother's team and his fantasy team beat mine this week. At least it looks to as he only needs 7 points from Rivers to win. So I am looking for some payback.

OMG!! Brady is BACK!!!! he defeated a 0-5 team!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:horror:horror

Kind of like how you were happy when the colts won last week against the same team right ****** bag?
